Denmark And Finland Say Don’t Travel To America #usa #europe Denmark and Finland have now issued travel warnings for the United States. Denmark warns their citizens of detention and has told Trans Danes that they could be denied entry. Finland has warned their citizens of the same. US officials have now cut off Canadian access to a shared library. The library, which is in both countries, has been a hallmark of the relationship with Canada for over 100 years. But now Canadians will have to enter through a separate entrance in Canada and stay on their side of the library. Now ICE will not disclose how many tourists it’s detained recently or why. It’s unclear how long they can continue their campaign of arbitrary detention before no one visits the US ever again. Tourism brought in over two trillion dollars to the US last year or nearly 10% of the US’s GDP. And international travel to the US is expected to decline by at least 15% this year and already we’re seeing that 30% of Canadians have canceled their trips to the US. Europeans are allowed to travel to America for up to 90 days for business or leisure without getting a visa in advance. This is a courtesy we both offer each other. So you have experts saying that these detentions are putting America at risk of losing its visa free travel to Europe. This would be yet another devastating blow to the transatlantic alliance.
