This is my new foster puppy, Dorian. He came in on Tuesday evening and presented as a normal puppy. He has a funky skin thing going on, but was on an antibiotic for it. Thursday morning, he woke up but couldn't lift his body. He wouldn't eat. He was vomiting profusely. He could barely lift his head. We rushed him to the vet. He did find enough energy to wag his tail while we waited for the doctor in the parking lot. 🥹 He has been there since and remains hospitalized. He is parking up, but the doctors still aren't sure what's wrong. It is not parvo. It took hours to get an IV started due to dehydration. Once they finally were able to get blood return, his labs were drawn. They look relatively normal. We're hoping to bring him home tomorrow and continue nursing him back to health. This boy hasn't survived this many challenges to not make it home. Please send Dorian positive vibes and healing thoughts. He is currently on medical hold, but we're hoping he'll recover fully and find his forever home.
