With a vast drink selection you surely will find something you like! I’m so impressed with each of the matcha drinks I tried! The strawberry cold foam was my favorite, followed by the pandan, & then the hibiscus lemonade. The matcha is good quality, a nice vibrant green color, & really hit the spot! The chicken katsu bento box was also really tasty & was my first time ever trying it. Now let’s not forget that matcha soft serve!!! It was some of the BEST I’ve had so far. Not too sweet & you can really taste the matcha flavoring well! Truly 10 out of 10. ✨ Okaeri has traditional Japanese seating (which I ended up moving to a table bc I might be younger, but my back and knees tell me otherwise). Anyways this was SO cool and I loved the experience and how cute it is!! 🥹🫶 I can’t forget about the HOSPITALITY of the staff as well! They were so incredibly kind, caring, & truly took care of every one of their customers I watched them serve. This piece is so important when it comes to local small businesses. I’ll forever hype up a business that has great products AND knows how to treat their customers. Okaeri is a MUST-TRY! At long last it's here, Okaeri Cafe has a Soft Opening going on for their new Rockville, Maryland location! Going through August 28th, from 12 PM - 9 PM, Monday - Sunday (closed on Tuesdays). You already know I had to come over and give it a try, so here's all that we got~ Ube Souffle Pancakes 🥞 Yuzu Kakigōri 🍧 Melon Cream Soda 🥤 Katsu Curry Rice 🍛 They also have a Japanese Anime Merch shop connected to the cafe area, which is super cool 🤩. I'm really glad they decided to open up another location in the DMV, their original location being in Centreville, VA, and this new location also seems to have more savory food options as well.
