It’s World Down Syndrome Day!! And I’m challenging you to put aside your limiting beliefs, conscious or unconscious… and to choose to see Down syndrome the way I see it - as something to be celebrated! AND, as something that’s just one part of the incredible story of our lives.
We are people! We’re layered! We have likes and dislikes… And we deserve to be seen for our personalities and not just our disabilities.
So I challenge you to talk to us! Get to know us! Ask questions, and find out who we actually are, instead of who you assume we should be.
Because I think it’s pretty safe to say… we just might surprise you 😍

The Garden Foundation is a nonprofit in Las Vegas dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities, providing opportunities for growth, independence, and creativity. One of their amazing initiatives is Digit Coffee, a coffee shop run by individuals with disabilities, giving them meaningful employment and a space to shine!
