I am still speechless!! The program was amazing, and I learned so much. It’s difficult juggling your personal life, school, work, and your family life. Since I was culturally different than most of my classmates and our family dynamics are completely different, I was unable to relate. I couldn’t describe my struggles or emotions. Being able to attend the program required me and the people around me to make sacrifices, and I am not talking about simply missing a family party. I wasn’t the only one having long nights. My bf or best friend picked up my mom from work for me, or my mom would wait until I drove back to Oxnard from school. Anyways, you will learn, and sacrifices will always have to be made in any journey. I did this for you Mami y Papi! You are my everything!!!!
