Imagine the iconic BMW E34, assembled not from metal and glass, but from hundreds of neat LEGO parts. This model is recreated with attention to detail and the character of the original - a real nostalgic capsule of the late 80s and early 90s, which combines the rigor of forms, aggressive charisma and engineering elegance, conveyed through the prism of the LEGO designer.
LEGO-BMW E34 is not just a toy, but a full-fledged model that can surprise even an avid fan of automotive classics. The body is made in the iconic sedan body, with characteristic angular shapes and recognizable proportions. Colors - rich black, classic metallic gray or, perhaps, a rare dark green - are conveyed using glossy cubes that form smooth but clear lines.
The front of the model is a real work of art. Four round headlights, like the eyes of a predator, are made of transparent parts and placed in recesses, imitating the legendary "double optics" BMW. Between them - a neat grille with branded "nostrils," assembled from miniature parts. The bumper is massive and strict, like the original, with the ability to insert fogs.
The hood, by the way, opens. Under it lies a small, but very reliable layout of an inline six-cylinder engine. Colored hoses, imitation of spark plugs, ventilation, even a battery - everything is made of LEGO Technic microparts and classic bricks. The hood is fixed on hinges and can be raised to demonstrate the "heart" of the car.
On the side, the model looks spectacular - the proportions are sustained, the lines of the windows are clear, the rear-view mirrors are fixed on miniature hinges to turn. The wheels are a real pride. They are equipped with discs stylized as the iconic "Style 5" or "Throwing Stars," with low-profile LEGO rubber. The suspension of the model can be either static or slightly movable (if you use Technic solutions), allowing you to tilt the body a little.
The interior is designed with no less attention. Through the opening doors you can look inside the cabin. There is a proprietary dashboard, a three-spoke steering wheel that can be turned, and even a gearbox lever that conveys the character of "mechanics." The front and rear seats are assembled from smooth bricks with a texture that creates a feeling of leather trim. The rear sofa is voluminous, with headrests. All this can be easily dismantled and replaced with alternative elements - for example, the option with Recaro seats for those who like the sports version.
If this LEGO-E34 is made in the M5 version, elements of aggression are added - extended arches, more massive bumpers, a spoiler on the trunk lid and special stickers with the "M Power" logos. This version will be assembled from 1500-2000 parts, including an advanced gearbox and a rear differential with a dummy.
Behind - no worse. Narrow lights with red-white-orange inserts recreated from translucent blocks. The trunk, like the hood, opens. Inside you can place a spare wheel and a small set of LEGO tools. The exhaust pipe is double, assembled from cylindrical parts, and the bumper has a seat under the LEGO license plate.
If you connect LEGO Powered Up LED elements, the headlights and dimensions can be equipped with backlight. And in the motorized version, the car can even drive, thanks to the electric motor hidden in the rear of the model.
