MUST EAT AUTHENTIC HAWAIIAN FOOD IN OAHU, HAWAII @waiaholepoifactory 🏝️ Last time the girls and I were on the Island @travis.eatz took us to this local joint on the way back from North Shore for some authentic Hawaiian food. Waiahole Poi Factory was originally an actual poi factory in 1905 that were make hand pounded poi from local taro root until 1970. The family restored these walls to create a restaurant still selling poi but also traditional food. They have dishes like Beef Luau, Chicken Long Rice, Kalua Pig, LauLau, and Squid Luau that can come in a combo plate with rice and poi! 1/2 Tsp Black/White Pepper Pinch salt 1 Tsp Msg (Optional) 2 Tsp Onion Powder Teriyaki Chicken: Grill 375F for 4-5 Min each Side 3 lbs Chicken thighs (Boneless skinless)
1 1/4 Cup Dark/ Normal Soy sauce 1/4 Cup Rice Vinegar/Mirin 6 Cloves Garlic (Pressed) 
1 cup light brown sugar
1 knob Ginger (Grated) 1 Tbsp Sesame oil 1 Tsp MSG (Optional) 2 Tsp Onion Powder 2 Tsp Garlic Powder 1 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tbsp sesame oil Teriyaki sauce use the marniate Sesame seeds 2 Tbsp Honey Slurry - 1 Tbsp Corn Starch 1 Tbsp Water Chicken Katsu: Fry at 350F for 4-6 Minutes

📍 Sweet Azz Hawaiian BBQ If this is what Hawaiian bbq tastes like i need to go there immediately! 😤😫🤤 First of all, the spam musubi is my absolute favouriteeee way to eat spam 🥹 its a perfect balanace of salt + the dipping sauce adds such a nice sweetness to it.
