Pumpkin pie time!!!! Omg this turned out so good, and now I have a decent amount of pumpkin puree for other recipes. Any ideas on what I should make with it? This pumpkin is called a fairytale pumpkin and imo it's the BEST for baking with. I got it at @Whole Foods Market but I'm sure you can find it at your local pumpkin patch too. The pie recipe is adapted from cook’s illustrated, I will put the ingredients I used below, and for the full instructions you can look up "cooks illustrated pumpkin pie recipe" to find the detailed instructions. Using sweetened condensed milk and a lot of spices takes this pie to the next level! ➡️ ingredients 1 pie shell 1 15 oz can of pumpkin 1 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk 1/3 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice 1/4 tsp cloves 1/4 tsp salt ➡️ directions 1. Preheat oven to 425. In a large bowl combine pumpkin, condensed milk, suagr, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, pumpkin pie spice, cloves, and salt. Whisk until smooth. 2. Place pie crust in a pie pan and shape edges. Pour mixture into crust. 3. Place pie in oven for 15 minutes on 425. Remove from oven and lower to 350. Use tinfoil to cover the crust so it doesn’t get burnt.
