Replying to @Tomeiya when the first bite makes you wanna cry 🥲 #padthai 1 bundle rice noodles 1 lb shrimp (seasoned w/ 1 tsp granulated garlic + 1 tsp white pepper) 1/2 pack cubed firm tofu 3 green onion stalks 1 shallot 4 cloves garlic 2 Tbsp palm sugar (sub brown sugar) 1/4 cup tamarind paste (can sub with 2 Tbsp tomato paste + 1 Tbsp vinegar) 1/4 cup fish sauce 1 tsp chicken bouillon Optional 1-2 tsp chili flakes 1 cup bean sprouts Limes + roasted peanuts to serve Soak rice noodles in room temperature water while you prep your ingredients (that way they will cook evenly instead of too mushy on the outside and too hard on the inside). Chop your tofu, aromatics and palm sugar then measure out your sauce. Clean your shrimp and season with garlic powder and white pepper. We’ll prepare our sauce first — this can also be done ahead of time and/or in larger batches so that you can have pad thai sauce ready to go in the fridge. To a pan with some oil, add in your shallot and garlic and cook until golden brown. Add sugar and sauce and heat until combined. Remove and set it aside. Pour a little more oil to the pan and in your shrimp. Lay the shrimp flat and once you see some pink around the edges, flip and cook another 30 seconds before removing onto a clean dish. Add in your tofu and cook till golden. Meanwhile, strain the rice noodles that have been soaking in room temperature water and pour over some boiling water. Remove your noodles and add straight to the pan with the tofu. Pour in your sauce and let the noodles soak it up. Push your noodles to the side and scramble two eggs in the empty space before sautéing it in with the noodles. Add back in your shrimp along with green onions and bean sprouts and sauté for a minute to complete. Serve with crushed roasted peanuts, green onion, chili flakes and lime and enjoy!

Save my recipe for Pad Thai! My family loves any noodle dish and this is a perfect dinner for us. There’s actually a few steps to prep before cooking the Pad Thai. Like making the sauce, soaking the rice noodles and cooking the shrimp and tofu first. Ingredients: 1 pound of shrimp, 1 package of firm tofu, 1 package 14oz dried flat rice noodle, 2 shallots diced, 2 tbsp minced garlic, 2 eggs, a handful of bean sprouts, 1/2 cup sliced green onions 1/2 cup chopped peanuts and 7 tbsp avocado oil. Ingredients for the sauce: 2 tbsp tamarind paste, 1 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce and 2 tbsp of shaved palm sugar or 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar. Instructions: Boil a pot of hot water, turn off heat and soak rice noodles for 10-15 minutes. Noodles should firm and partially cooked. Drain and set aside. Slice tofu into cubes and pat dry with paper towel. In a large pan heat 3 tbsp avocado oil to medium and cook tofu on each side for 3-4 minutes until golden. Remove from pan. Peel and divine shrimp and season with a little salt. In a large pan heat 2 tbsp of avocado oil to medium heat. Cook shrimp on each side 3-4 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove and set aside. Heat Wok or Large pan to low medium, add 2 tbsp avocado oil, shallots and garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes and add soaked noodles to finish cooking. Pour in sauce until noodles absorb, scramble two eggs, add bean sprouts, green onions, cooked shrimp, tofu and top with peanuts. Serve with a lime wedges. #padthai #asianrecipes #noodlerecipes

PAD THAI RECIPE ✨ Made by 60 year old Thai auntie who has been making this for 30 years! This is as authentic as it gets!! FORGOT TO MENTION: She adds the sweet preserved radish the end and sautees all together. Note: This is the authentic pad thai method that restaurants do. Also you can use shallots instead of onions. #houtocook #padthai #easyrecipes #cooking #thaifood #asianfood #thairecipes #recipe
