Easy dinner idea 👀 Japanese Chicken Teriyaki Bowl A simple healthy cooking recipe for your next dinner or meal prep idea for the week! Recipe & Ingredients: Teriyaki Chicken - Garlic - Soy sauce - Kecap Manis (Sweet soy) - Pepper - Lemon - Chicken thigh Salad - Chopped Red Cabbage - Cucumber - Avocado - Roasted Seaweed Rice & Eggs - Rice 😃 - Eggs 😃 - White vinegar Garnish/Topping - Spring Onion - Coriander - Everything Bagel Seasoning @Mingle Seasoning - Shochimi Togarashi (Sorry I don’t measure anything!!) 1. Put your rice on in a rice cooker or on the stove. Sushi rice or a short grain rice is nice in a bowl as it’s a little more sticky. 2. Make the chicken teriyaki sauce by adding all the ingredients into a bowl. Add everything to taste! Once you’re happy with the flavour, set aside. 3. Chop your chicken and add home made teriyaki sauce. Set aside or refrigerate overnight. 4. Chop up your veggies and place in bowl. 5. Start cooking chicken in pan in a pan with medium-high heat. 6. Fill pot with water and add a splash of vinegar. Place on stove so it’s simmering or lightly boiling. 7. Once pot of water is simmering, add eggs in and let them poach for 2 minutes. It’s helpful to crack them in a little cup and then add them in. 8. Place cooked rice and chicken into prepared bowl. Add your cooked egg in too. 9. Top with all the garnishes, roasted seaweed and enjoy!! Japanese BBQ Beef Bowl🔥 A weekly staple in my house right here. I've been eating this at least 3-5x a week the past few months! It's simple, quick, tastes f*cking delicious and never gets old for me. Also so easy to make/prep! FULL RECIPE ⬇️ INGREDIENTS - 1 lb lean ground beef (Used 90/10) - Avocado oil spray - Seasonings: salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder. - @Bachan’s Japanese BBQ - Jasmine rice (cooked) - Sliced cucumbers - Shredded carrots - Kimchi - Green onions - Sesame seeds Note: Adjust measurements and ingredients to your liking. DIRECTIONS 1. Prep your rice according to the directions on the package. 2. Get a large skillet going over medium-high heat. Spray then add in your ground beef. Break it up then season to your liking. Once the beef is about done (usually 7-10 min), lower the heat and add in the Japanese bbq sauce. Mix till well combined and let cook for an extra few mins. This will allow the flavor to cook into the beef. 3. Prep your veggies and other add-ins. 5. Pork Belly Bowl | Butadon 🐷 🍚 Everyday Japanese Recipe #porkbelly #ricebowl #japanesefood #butadon #easyrecipe #recipe Recipe: 1. Wash and cook yo rice (1 cup of water to 1 cup of japanese shortgrain rice). Add a piece of kombu for extra umami 2. Thinly slice your pork belly (but not too thin, otherwise there wont be a nice bite and it’ll just be like bacon) 3. To make the sauce we start by cooking 3 tbs of sugar with 1 tbs of water on medium-medium high heat 4. Add 3tbs of soy, 3tbs sake and 2tbs mirin and cook until until a shiny and thicker consistency. Note: it will thicken more as it cools. 5. Sear your pork belly on high heat and then once both sides are seared, pour in some of your sauce and let it caramelise on both sides. (Reduce your heat once seared as high heat can burn the sauce easily due to sugar contents) 6. Torch your pork belly for sorm additional smoky and caramelisation. 7. Top it up with more sauce, raw egg and scallions. Enjoy!
