Fresh donbuti in Chelsea! Taberu Nomu is serving up fresh donburi—Japanese-style rice bowls topped with seafood. We tried two bowls today, one small and one medium. I would say the medium is an inch or two wider and taller than the small. The rice was seasoned perfectly, and the fish was incredibly fresh. You can’t go wrong with anything here! The Katsurahama bowl is most popular since it has a good variety of everything. It comes with botan ebi, ikura, salmon, hotate, yellowtail, tuna, and squid. Since I love sweet shrimp, the Yonaha Maehama was also delicious. It features botan ebi, ikura, hotate, squid, and ama ebi. 🦐 We also tried their takowasa, or wasabi octopus, on the side—just a bit too spicy for me, but they serve green tea which helped balance it out nicely. #ChelseaEats #DonburiLovers #NYCFoodie #japanesefood #NYCJapaneseFood #KaisendonNYC #IzakayaNYC #JapaneseCuisine #SushiLovers #NYCRestaurants #SeafoodLovers #Donburi #NYCFoodScene #EatInNYC #JapaneseFoodNYC #NYCDining #Sushilovers #fiyahfeasts
