No shade to Honey Baked Ham, but yall, go ahead and save $80 by making this glorious Caramelized Pineapple & Brown Sugar Ham for Easter! It’s so easy to make and it is beyond tender, perfectly sweet and salty, and you’ll look like a pro. Oh, and I’ve got methods not only for the dutch oven but for the crockpot and the instant pot, as well! ⭐️ 6-10lb spiral cut bone-in cooked ham ⭐️ 2 tbsp dijon mustard ⭐️ 20 oz crushed pineapple (DO NOT USE FRESH PINEAPPLE!!!!! You can read the blog post if you’re interested as to why I’m saying this.) ⭐️ 2 cups brown sugar ⭐️ 1 tsp cinnamon 1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 300F degrees. 2️⃣ Place half of the pineapple, sugar, and cinnamon in the bottom of a Dutch oven and stir to combine. 3️⃣ Add the ham and smear the outside with the dijon mustard. Add the rest of the pineapple, working it in-between the slices. Then top with the rest of the brown sugar and cinnamon and pack it on. 4️⃣ Cover with the lid (or tinfoil if your ham is too big) then place in the oven for 2 hours. 5️⃣ Remove from the oven and carefully place the ham on a serving platter. Place the dutch oven and the remaining liquid on your stovetop and turn the heat to medium-high. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring often to avoid burning, until the sauce has thickened into a beautiful amber colored syrup-y glaze. 6️⃣ Drizzle the glaze on top before serving and enjoy! #ad Welcome to sandwich land - where all of your wildest slider dreams come true!! #KingsHawaiianPartner I took King’s Hawaiian Pretzel Bites, toasted ‘em, stuffed ‘em with crispy fried mortadella, creamy dijonnaise, and melty provolone… in honor of Anthony Bourdain’s favorite sandwich! These lil guys are like a miniature bite of heaven that are perfect for entertaining! You’re going to LOVE them! 1 tub of King’s Hawaiian Pretzel Bites 2 tbsp olive oil, divided ¾ lb Mortadella, thinly sliced ¼ lb provolone cheese, cut into small pieces ⅓ cup dijonnaise Slice pretzel bites in half and place on a baking sheet - cut side up. Drizzle with half of the olive oil and place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside. Meanwhile, get a large skillet heated over medium-high and create little clumps of mortadella with each slice. Add the remaining olive oil then add the clumps of mortadella. Fry for a few minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Top each one with a tiny piece of provolone cheese and then stack two of the cheesy meat piles on top of each other. You will probably need to do this in 3-4 batches. Smear the bottom of each pretzel bite with the dijonnaise then top with a pile of the cheesy crispy meat then put the top of the slider on top. CHEESY PINEAPPLE CASSEROLE for my retro recipe lovers! 🍍🧀 It’s a little wild, I know, but trust me—it’s insanely good! Perfect for a nostalgic holiday menu, and it’s always the talk of Friendsgiving! My mom’s been making it forever, and I think y'all are gonna love it too! Here’s what you’ll need: ⭐️ 2 20oz cans pineapple tid bits, ⭐️ 1/2 cup sugar in the raw ⭐️ 1/3 cup flour ⭐️ 2 cups cheddar cheese ⭐️ 2 cups ritz crackers, crushed ⭐️ 1/2 cup salted butter, melted ⭐️ 1/4 cup pineapple juice 1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350F degrees. 2️⃣ Drain pineapple tidbits and reserve ¼ cup of the pineapple juice. Set aside. 3️⃣ In a large bowl, add flour and sugar. Mix it up so that there are no clumps. 4️⃣Add drained pineapple and shredded cheese to the mixing bowl and stir everything together until combined Add the mixture to a casserole dish. 5️⃣ Add the crushed ritz crackers to a medium sized bowl then drizzle with melted butter and add the pineapple juice. VIRAL PRETZEL BREAD PUDDING!! But we’re using @KING’S HAWAIIAN Bites! They’re perfectly sweet and salty and you are going to be obsessed with this recipe!! SO GOOD OMG! #kingshawaiianpartner INGREDIENTS 1.5 cups heavy cream 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar 1 pack of King’s Hawaiian Soft Pretzel Bites 3/4 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup salted butter, plus more for greasing skillet 1/2 tsp flaky salt **optional vanilla or salted caramel ice cream** INSTRUCTIONS In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon sugar and set aside. Cut the soft pretzel bites in half and toss them in the custard mixture - submerging and coating each piece. Let this mixture sit for at least 2 hours (up to overnight). Once ready to bake, preheat oven to 350F degrees. Grease a cast iron skillet with butter then add the pretzel mixture. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until set in the middle. During the last ten minutes of baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat then stir in the brown sugar. Stir the mixture until the sugar has melted into the butter and begins bubbling. Let the mixture bubbly for a few minutes or until it becomes a uniform color - but do not let the sides burn. Once golden brown, set aside. Once you pull the pretzel bread pudding out of the oven, immediately drizzle the caramel sauce evenly across the surface of the skillet. Add flaky salt before serving with ice cream if desired. Move over baked brie, this viral whipped brie is taking over!!! I topped mine with fig jam, honey and salty pistachios and served ‘em with truffle potato chips from Trader Joe’s. But what I love most is that it’s so transformable - like want to do pumpkin butter and pumpkin seeds?! ON IT! Onion jam and crispy bacon crumbles?! YES PLEASE!!! Putting your own spin on it is half the fun!! Oh and of course, maj props to @ainttooproudtomeg’s for setting off this viral sensation ⭐️ 2 8 oz wheels Brie Cheese ⭐️ 3 tablespoons Honey, divided ⭐️ 2 tablespoons Fig Jam ⭐️ 1 tablespoon Toasted Pistachios, roughly chopped ⭐️ 1 pinch Flaky Salt 1️⃣ Using a sharp knife or cheese slicer, carefully remove the rind from your chilled brie. It’s easiest to do this when the cheese is very cold. 2️⃣ Now use your hands to tear up the brie then add it to a food processor, electric mixer, or the bowl of a stand mixer with a paddle attachment and let it come to room temp. 3️⃣ Once the brie is room temp, add 1 tablespoon of honey. Start whipping the cheese on medium speed until it’s got a creamy texture. You will most likely need to scrape the sides of the bowl down every minute or so to get the best creamy consistency. Once it’s almost at the perfect consistency, turn the speed up to high to really whip it thoroughly. 4️⃣ Once the whipped brie is smooth and creamy, spread it out in a serving bowl - making sure that you take up as much surface area as possible. 5️⃣ Add whatever toppings you want to take this cheese spread to the next level. PUMPKIN POWER - episode 1!!! Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Gnocchi with a Caramelized Onion Cream Sauce is pure heaven. Seriously, no notes. It is perfect and i can’t wait for you to find them!! ⭐️INGREDIENTS⭐️ 2 packs Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Gnocchi 4 tbsp salted butter, divided 2 tbsp olive oil 2 onions, finely diced 1/4 tsp kosher salt 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes 1/4 cup water 1/2 tsp fresh thyme 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated Flaky salt & fresh cracked pepper ⭐️INSTRUCTIONS⭐️ Add salted butter and olive oil to a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onions, kosher salt and red pepper flakes and stir. Turn the heat down to medium-low and caramelize, stirring often, for 30-40 minutes. If starting to stick or burn, stir in 1/4 cup water at a time as often as needed. Once caramelized, add the fresh thyme and cook for 2 more minutes. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to a boil with a hefty pinch of salt. Once the onions are caramelized, boil the gnocchi for 2-3 minutes or until they’re tender and floating. Remove the gnocchi from the water and transfer them to the caramelized onion skillet and toss with the remaining butter - cooking for a few minutes to slightly toast the gnocchi in all of the onion-y goodness. Add the heavy cream to the gnocchi and toss before stirring in the parmesan cheese.
