Recipe below OR go to my website through the link in my bio 🤎 #Recipe Details (makes 16-20 cookies): Ingredients: - 1 cup + 2 tbsp salted butter - 1 cup brown sugar - 1/2 cup granulated sugar - 2 eggs, at room temp - 2 tbsp heavy cream, at room temp - 2 tsp vanilla extract - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour @Bob’s Red Mill - 1 tsp baking soda - 1 tsp baking powder - 1/4 tsp salt - 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips or chopped chunks @Costco Wholesale Instructions: Start by browning the butter. Add the butter to a saucepan @From Our Place over medium-high heat. Allow to melt and slightly brown (~5 minutes). Remove from the heat and allow to let it cool slightly. In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside. Once the brown butter has cooled, add the browned butter, both sugars, and the eggs to a large bowl. Whisk well until combined and lighter in color. Then add in the eggs, heavy cream, and vanilla. Whisk until well combined. Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and gently fold until fully incorporated. Add the chocolate chips/chunks, and gently fold until evenly dispersed. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in the fridge to chill for at least 1-2 hours (ideally 2-4 hours) or up to 24 hours. I let mine sit in the fridge overnight! Once ready to bake, preheat the oven to 375F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Use a large cookie scoop (3 tbsp) to scoop (pack the dough into the scoop with your hands) the dough out onto the baking sheets, spacing the cookies 2” apart from each other. Bake at 375F for 12-15 minutes, until lightly golden and the edges are set. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack. Serve warm with milk, if desired. Chocolate chip cookies ( makes 9-10 cookies )🍪 Ingredients: 1/2 cups unsalted butter, melted and cooled 1/2 cup light brown sugar 1/3 cup granulated sugar 1 large egg 1 tbsp vanilla 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour, spooned and leveled 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate For garnish: Flaky sea salt Method: Preheat oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl mix flour, baking soda and salt, set aside. In a separate bowl add melted butter. Mix in brown and granulated sugar. Whisk for 1-2 minutes until it turns into paste. Crack in the egg and vanilla mix until combine. Combine dry ingredients into the wet batter and gently fold in until just combined. Add chocolate chips and mix with spatula. Do not over mix the batter. Scoop out 9 cookies onto the parchment paper. Place not more than 4 cookies on a 15*10 baking tray. As they spread while baking. Bake for 12 minutes. They should come out golden and crispy from the edges and gooey from the center.
