Replying to @FearTheKirby DOUBLE TREE COOKIES INGREDIENTS: 2 sticks unsalted butter (softened) 2/3 Cup granulated sugar 2/3 Cup brown sugar 2 Eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 Cups AP flour 1/2 Cup rolled oats 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 tsp ground cinnamon 2 Cups chocolate chips (semisweet) 1 Cup chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 300 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cream butter and both sugars together. You can use a stand mixer or a hand mixer. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract and continue to whisk until all ingredients are well combined. Scape the sides of the bowl if needed. Add in the flour and mix. Then add in the oats, baking soda, salt and ground cinnamon and mix. Once everything is combined, fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts. Use some muscle and don’t over mix! Scoop out the mix onto the prepped baking sheet. I used an ice cream scoop and spaced them out on the sheet. Bake for 20-22min. Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to remain on the baking sheet for 10 min.
