Episode 2 of my ✨THANKSGIVING SERIES✨ - 🥚DEVILED EGGS🥚 Love em’ or hate em’, they are one of my FAVOURITE Thanksgiving foods! A perfect appetizer before the big meal. These deviled eggs are creamy, tangy smokey, & sure to make your tummy smile! This recipe is a rough guideline, adjust amounts of ingredients & seasoning to taste. 5 large eggs 1 ½ TBSP mayo Yellow mustard (to taste) Bread & butter pickles (chopped) + juice from the jar -> (1 TBSP pickles) + 1 ¼ tsp pickle juice White vinegar (to taste) Smoked paprika Chives In a large pot over high heat, place your eggs gently in the water (make sure water is covering the eggs completely). Once water comes to a boil, turn off the heat & cover with lid. Let eggs sit for 10-12 minutes. Drain & place eggs into a bowl filled with ice water to stop the eggs from continuing to cook. Once eggs are cool to the touch, make a small crack in the egg shells & place eggs back into the water for 5 minutes (this will make the eggs EASY to peel). Drain & remove eggs from water, peel, & pat dry with a paper towel. Slice in half lengthwise & separate yolks from whites. Mash yolks & add mayo, mustard, pickles (plus juice), vinegar, salt & pepper to taste. Fill egg whites with yolk mixture. Top with smoked paprika & chives. Enjoy! • • • #landofgrub #thanksgiving #thanksgivingfood #thanksgivingrecipes #easythanksgivingrecipes #turkeyday #thanksgivingsides #festiverecipes #thanksgivingdinner #deviledeggs #easydeviledeggs #boiledeggs
