My breathwork session on Sunday is still ON!
I almost canceled it because I know many are still without power or dealing with repairs and trying to get back to normal.
When we are stressed, the first things we often neglect are the tools we have to take care of ourselves. Yet, this is when we need them the most. Pushing through and just moving on creates chronic stress states that wreak havoc on our physical and mental health.
So, instead of canceling, I am pushing even harder to provide a space where everyone can discharge the emotions of the week and truly reset.
To make this class as accessible as possible, I’m offering a “pay what you want” option for the next 48 hours. Whether you pay more than the standard $47 or less, it’s totally up to you. I just want us to fill all 20 spots.
Let’s not let Hurricane Beryl take any more from us than it already has. Put some de-stress time on your calendar now, and start the week refreshed, focused, and clear.
Details in bio on IG.

🏃🏾♀️💨 Most people train their legs for endurance... but what about their breath? I’m training for Hyrox, but I’m not out here running every day (my joints & hormones say no thanks 😅). In addition to my physical training, I’m also training my breathing muscles—a little-known but powerful way to improve endurance! In this video, I’m practicing light, slow, and deep breathingto strengthen my diaphragm and increase my CO2 tolerance. Why does that matter? Because when your body tolerates more CO2, you become more oxygen-efficient, meaning you need fewer breaths to fuel your muscles. Less gasping, better recovery, and less lactic acid buildup. 💪🏾 Try this: Breathe in for 4 seconds, out for 6 seconds for 5-10 minutes daily and see how your endurance improves. Who else is training their breath? Drop a 🫁 if you’re in! P.S.This is also great for people with anxiety—but more on that later. 😉 #BreathworkForAthletes #HyroxTraining #EnduranceTraining #BreathingMuscles #TrainSmarter #CO2Tolerance #BreatheBetter #Breathwork #AnxietyRelief

·1-13When life gets hectic, that’s when we need to pause, reset, and find our center the most. In this session, I’ll guide you to reflect on this past year, release what you’re ready to leave behind in 2024, and redefine your vision for 2025. The music and rhythmic breathing will help you bypass the busyness of your conscious mind so you can reprogram your subconscious mind with updated thoughts and beliefs. Take this pause in the middle of the crazy and give yourself the gift of your own attention. I hope to breathe with you one final time this year. #somabreath #onlinebreathwork #NYE #selfcare #houstonbreathwork

·2024-12-24First Hyrox competition ✅! I’m reminded that life gets really good just beyond your comfort zone. This wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. It’s proof that we’re capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for. Chase the challenges that scare you a little, because that’s where growth and joy collide. Flirt with dangerous, dance with uncertainty and become your own muse. What’s your next challenge? #PushYourLimits #HyroxJourney #comfortzone #houstonhyrox #butdidyoudie

·2024-11-26Last Sunday’s breathwork session was beautiful, intense, and deeply informative experience. We explored how rhythmic breathing helps regulate moods and emotions, and how breath holding can enhance cardiovascular health and strengthen the nervous system’s response to stress. With gratitude as our theme, we embodied a future vision for our lives, connecting to a profound sense of thankfulness in the present moment while creating space for the abundance yet to come. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who continues to show up for these sessions and explores the most powerful healing tool we have… our breath. ✨ Stay tuned for December’s online session! ✨ #Breathwork #MentalHealthAwareness #HolisticHealing #GratitudePractice #HealingJourney #MindBodyConnection #StressRelief #EmotionalWellness #houstonbreathwork

·2024-11-19I think of breathwork as a nervous system gym 💪🏾. It improves our physical health and increases longevity. It optimizes our mental health because regulated breathing leads to regulated emotions ⚖️. Sometimes we don’t want to do it, but we always feel better afterward. With consistent practice, we begin to see the weight of stress, anxiety, sleepless nights, and endless worry fall off of us. Each session melts the stress away and increases mental, physical, and spiritual strength. Ready to experience this for yourself? Join me for the next session on Sunday @wellbeing_t50_fitness! Each session builds more internal peace and strength. ‼️If you want a small taste of what a session is like, download my free mini breath session in my IG profile. It’s 11 minutes of soothing breathwork you can use anytime of day. #linkinbio #breathwork #breathworkfacilitator #houstonbreathwork #mentalhealthsupport #somatichealing #houstontherapist

·2024-11-1A regulated breath creates a regulated life. Your breath is the foundation of your life. It’s the first thing you experience when you enter the world, and it’s the last thing to leave you on your way out. In between, we often don’t pay attention to it... until there’s a problem. Your breath is a gift, a tool, and when you learn to bring conscious attention to it, you can shift your entire life. There’s still time to register for Sunday’s wellness event. We’ll move through yoga, breathwork, and receive the healing vibrations of a sound bath. 🔗 in bio #breathwork #houstonbreathwork #yoga #soundbath #selfcaresunday #houston #houstonwellness #pearlandtx #blackwellness

·2024-10-21I started sunday with a breathwork session before my birthday brunch, and one thing I know for sure is that spirit truly moves through the breath. When you open your heart and mind, what needs to be healed, revealed, and transformed will do just that. What came to me during the session was the importance of bringing more intentionality to the gathering of women. Without diving into all the details, I’ll say this: this wasn’t your typical Sunday brunch (though we had a ton of fun). It was an embodiment of the power of sisterhood, human connection, and vulnerability. Something moved through all of us yesterday, and we walked away as better women. Afterward, we danced and moved in the most feminine, fun, and playful ways. I pray for 44 more years (and beyond) to keep living inside the magic of life. I won’t take the “stuff” with me, but I believe the memories will be forever imprinted on my soul. I want to breathe in as much life as I can while I’m here. I want to pour out everything that has been poured into me, leaving this lifetime completely empty…yet totally full. More connection, more love, more sharing, more learning—that’s what I wish for myself this year. Take a moment today to reflect on the connections in your life—how can you bring more intentionality to them? What do you want to experience more of this year? I invite you to join me on this journey of breathing in life, healing, and living fully! #birthdaypost #sisterhood #vulnerability #playishealing #polefitness #therapistoftikok

·2024-10-8Healing from Home!🏠 🧘🏾♀️ When we become regulated—grounded, settled, connected, calm—the answers to our deepest questions naturally reveal themselves. The courage to face challenges emerges, as we realize that everything we need to create the life we desire is already within us. Anxiety, self-doubt, fears, past experiences, and the constant noise of the world can drown out this inner wisdom. I encourage more people to stop looking outward and start looking inward for healing. Join me on Sunday, September 29th , where I’ll guide you on a journey within, helping you release overwhelm and reconnect with the sound of your inner voice. SOMA Breathwork has been proven to reduce anxiety, foster a sense of calm, and enhance mental clarity, along with physical benefits like improved endurance, better oxygen efficiency, and lower blood pressure. Find your coziest spot at home, grab a blanket and eye mask, and get ready for moment of peace. ·2024-9-13Posting anything about motherhood can be tricky because it’s such a sensitive topic. So, my caveat is that I know this conversation has many layers, but here are my general thoughts. There are a few things that can make motherhood more challenging: 1) Mothers feeling like a burden, which leads to keeping hard things to themselves. 2) Struggling to trust others, resulting in doing everything alone. 3) Issues with setting and enforcing boundaries. 4) Shame or self-worth issues, which may sound like, "As long as *they* are okay, I’m fine." 5) Setting unrealistic expectations of what it means to be a "good mom." 6) A subconscious need to be needed, which results in doing for others (including children) what they can do for themselves. The good news? This is all shiftable! You can create space and increase your satisfaction in motherhood, which both you and your children deserve! Again, I recognize that mothers with very young children, single parents, and parents of children with special needs face additional challenges. So if this message doesnt apply to your situation then keep scrolling. However even if uncomfortable being honest about our own role In our suffering is actually empowering! #motherhood #workingmom #therapistsontiktok
