Saw SMASH on Broadway and got to thank Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman at intermission. Told him how funny it was and reminded Marc that at Martin Short’s broadway show, the one where Bette Midler showed up and he asked her to sing “Rose.” Theater kid dream.
