A presentation of gogo boys during the 2025 Gincana, held last Saturday (29/3) in Coelho Neto (), caused a revolt on social networks and is being investigated by the Civil Police of Maranhão (PCMA). The event, organized by the Municipal Women's Secretariat intion to Women's Month, was attended by children and adolescents.
Videos circulating on the internet show men dancing sensually, using only, simulating s3xual acts and interacting with the audience. At a certain point, one of the police appears dressed as a fireman, in a possible allusion to erotics.
Gincana da Mulher was promoted as part of women's empowerment actions and included activities such as sports tournaments, cultural presentations and the first march against femicide in the municipality, with the participation of around 500 women.
However, the presentation of the gogo boys was not mentioned in the official note released by the city hall on Monday (3/31), which described the event as a moment of "entertainment, fun and games."
