I still dream about these tacos I had at Taco Island in Seminyak… and when I say they are fire, I mean THEY ARE FIRE!! 🔥
We got their Energy Pack (Feed 3-4 people) -> 12 crunchy beef tacos, a side of Mexican rice, rich consommé to dip into + a creamy avocado salsa to pour on top for only $34.89 (350K IDR) 5/5 ⭐️
Each bite was a harmonious blend of crispy taco shell and tender beef! 🥵 Dipping it in the consommé and adding the salsas (pineapple salsa is a must) made it even juicier 🤤 Mexican rice that comes alongside is sooo yum 😍
You must also get the blue house made lemonade alongside as it’s the perfect accompaniment 🍋💙
Their jackfruit Vegan taco with cashew nut sauce was also absolute genius -> must try too even if you aren’t Vegan!! ($8.47 AUD for 3) 5/5 ⭐️
Birria Ramen wasn’t too bad I would give it a solid 3.5/5 ⭐️, it basically tastes like taco noodle soup hahaha 🍜
Taco Island definitely felt like a true Mexican escape in the heart of Bali 🥰
Highly recommend visiting to have an amazing Birria taco experience 🌮

My wife was craving Benihana Style Hibachi so this week I’m making it homemade! @𝐾𝑎𝑟𝑙𝑎 ☁️🩰
Benihana Hibachi With Chicken Fried Rice Copycat Recipe:
Ingredients
Proteins:
• 1 chicken breast (cubed)
• 6 oz filet mignon or New York strip (cubed)
• 6 large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
• 3 tbsp garlic butter (see below)
• 3 tbsp soy sauce (1 tbsp per protein)
• 1 tbsp sesame oil
• 1 fresh lemon (cut into wedges)
• Salt & pepper to taste
Benihana Chicken Fried Rice:
• 2 cups cooked white rice (day-old, cold rice works best)
• 1 chicken breast (diced into small pieces)
• 2 eggs (beaten)
• 2 tbsp garlic butter
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp sesame oil
• 2 green onions (chopped)
• 1/4 cup diced white onion
• 1/4 cup diced carrot
• Salt & pepper to taste
Hibachi Vegetables:
• 1 zucchini (sliced into half-moons)
• 1/2 onion (sliced into thick half-moons)
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp garlic butter
• 1 tsp sesame oil
• 1/2 fresh lemon (for squeezing over at the end)
Garlic Butter (Essential for Hibachi Flavor):
• 8 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
• 4 cloves garlic (minced)
• 2 tsp soy sauce
Yum Yum Sauce (Optional, but delicious):
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 1 tbsp ketchup
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tbsp melted butter
• 1 tsp rice vinegar
• 1-2 tbsp water (to thin)
