Update on YNW Mellys retrial: after monthsof being on hold due to an appeal regarding a 20 min docu style video on Mellys youtube page, the retrial finally has some movement…judge murphy sided with Mellys team in allowing preparations for the retrial to continue while the appeal is still pending. The actual trial wont start until after the appeal, but there will be motion

A$AP Rocky had a hearing for his first Degree Assault charges yesterday. The hearing is to determine if he will have to go to trial over these allegations…he has to come back to court on 11/20 & its expected for the judge to make a decision then. People are saying this didnt really hit the news like that - do yall remember this story?

on the final days of the A$AP Rocky trial, Rocky's lawyer Joe Tacopina and both state prosecutors, John Lewin and Paul Bradley Przelomiec, give closing arguments. The state argued there is only one question that jurors need to answer, "was the gun real or fake?" while Tacopina argues the victim in this case, Terrell 'Relli' Ephron and his credibility are at issue here. The jury, made up of 7 women and 5 men, will begin deliberations on Tuesday about if Rakim 'A$AP Rocky' Mayers is guilty on both counts of Assault with a semi-automatic firearm, stemming from a November 6, 2021 incident in Hollywood, California. Rocky is facing up to 24 years but prosecutors have said they will recommend 8 years. Rihanna brought her and Rocky's 2 toddler sons, RZA and Riot, to court on day 12. During his testimony, the prosecutor asked him if Rocky is known to carry a prop gun, what made him believe the gun was real and Rockys team told the judge they do NOT plan on producing the prop gun during this triall

A$AP Rocky’s team claims that the weapon he is alleged to have sh*t his former friend A$AP Relli with was actually fake. When Terrell Ephron aka Relli was on the stand, prosecutors asked him if he believes it was fake.

Before day 1 of jury selection in the A$AP Rocky trial began, the attorney met with the judge for a hearing. They discussed Rocky’s current plea deal - which he rejected - as well as reveal a key component of his defense which is that he didn’t have a real weapon on the day of the incident…he was carrying a fake one. On day 2 of the Florida v Jamell ‘YNW Melly’ Demons hearing, Over objections from the state, Judge Fein ordered the state to turn over the search warrant for Attorney Raven Liberty’s apple iCloud. They also filed a motion for reconsideration in which they argued that the they don’t legally have to turn it over and that doing so would disrupt the investigation. The judge disagreed. Next hearing February 18th.

The new judge, Judge Fein, set aside 2 days to hear all pending motions in Mellys retrial case that is scheduled to begin on September 10, 2025 but when court was in session the defense team told the judge that they cannot proceed because one of Mellys defense attorneys, Raven liberty, is currently under investigation connected to Mellys witness tampering case… here’s the recap
