Mötley Crüe is one of the most iconic bands in heavy rock, formed in Los Angeles in 1981. Known for their irreverent style, wild attitude and extravagant live performances, the band was one of the main names in glam metal and hard rock in the 80s. The classic lineup consisted of Vince Neil (vocals), Mick Mars (guitar), Nikki Sixx (bass) and Tommy Lee (drums).
The albums "Shout at the Devil" (1983), "Theatre of Pain" (1985) and "Dr. Feelgood" (1989) are some of the band's biggest hits, with songs that were marked in the history of rock, such as "Kickstart My Heart" and "Home Sweet Home".
The band's trajectory was marked by many controversies, including drug problems, infighting and line-up changes over the years, but also by its enormous commercial success, with more than 100 million albums sold worldwide.
Despite a series of breakups and comebacks, Mötley Crüe became a symbol of excess and a rock legend, and in 2015, they announced they would do a farewell tour. However, in 2022, the band got together again for a new series of shows.
