Account settings help you manage your account information, privacy preferences, and public presence.
These settings may vary depending on your region and version of the app.
By default, accounts for people under 16 are set to private at the start. This means you can approve or deny follower requests, and only people you’ve approved as followers can see your content. Accounts for people over 16 who do not choose a private account during registration start out as public. This means everyone can view your public videos and post comments to engage with the content you’ve created and shared. Learn more
The Suggest your account to others setting allows others to discover your account. By default, this feature for people under 16 is turned off, but you can change this in your Privacy settings. Learn more
