3 (of the many) reasons that come to mind when I tell people what Muay Thai helps me with: 1️⃣ It keeps in a Healthy Routine! Muay Thai encourages consistency when it comes to training, diet, work-life balance, sleep, and rest. For those who have been training for a while, you know that training Muay Thai can quickly become of your daily/weekly hobbies and overtake the way you structure your day to day. This means that individuals must prepare to be organised to include training within their activities in the week. Training helps me exercise consistently, which then encourages me to maintain a balanced diet and get to bed in time to get enough sleep to support both my training and recovery. For fighters, this is extremely important, because routine and consistency is key 🔑 2️⃣ Confidence. Sure, Muay Thai is a form of self defence which is important for everyone to know but it's so much more than that. The sport itself has shown me what I am capable of and how far I can push myself. This has given me so much confidence in the outside world and is a great reminder that I can get through hard challenges. The sport has also taught me how to confidently and respectfully carry myself in front of others; as a training partner, a fighter, and a coach. 🙏🏼 3️⃣ There's always something new to learn. You'll never get bored and you should never get complacent because there is always something new to learn. Wether its techniques, something cultural, or even something to learn about yourself as you grow in the sport. That's the beauty of it, no matter what stage in the sport you're at - there's always something new. 📖 ✨Bonus reason: Hitting stuff is fun ✨
