I just took my family to the Omaha zoo on the past holiday weekend it was 99° outside but we had a blast and definitely will be coming back here. Here are some things I learned and I will do differently next time I visit 👇 . . . When you enter the zoo, you have an option to go to the left, which is the right I recommend you go to the right first this is when you’re going to see the most animals close together and you will be able to end your trip going downhill passing the fun activities like the carousel. One thing I didn’t know about the Omaha zoo is that they have a splash pad, small children, water park that is fun for the summer con to the waterpark is there is a long line to get in. I’m busy days so get there early or go on a weekday. The best way to get around is walking the second best way to get around is taking the skyFari for a nice overview and relaxing trip. The train and the tram are fine if you have the time to wait but I found that people are waiting in line for the amount of time it would take to just walk to the next destination . Go in the early morning. This is when the animals are the most active in the crowds are just starting to grow if you can go on a weekday because the weekends and especially holiday weekends are busy. Water in the park is over four dollars so just bring as much water if you can fit in your stroller don’t forget some nice healthy hydrating snacks and please don’t forget sunscreen I forgot sunscreen and I am so mad at myself for that #Travel #MomHacks #VacationTips #OmahaNebraska #VisitInOmaha #OmahaInZoo #MomTips #familyvacation
