Love a new restaurant with good food and a vibe! Plum Bk is a NEW restaurant and lounge in Brooklyn with Caribbean dishes. The decor matches its name with purple velvet sears, neon lights and booths. It’s Super cute and allows for several photo opportunities. 💜 Sampler: Jerk Wings (🔥), Onion rings, Bang Bang Shrimp 💜 Oxtail with Rice and Peas 💜 Plum signature pasta with shrimp 💜 Lamb rack 💜 Fried Catfish Tacos 💜 Strawberry Cheesecake Loved the pasta!! I love getting dressed up and going out to eat and I stumbled on this new upscale restaurant in the heart of Harlem 🎷✨ @victoriatheaternyc is a new restaurant located in the former location of the iconic Victoria Theater. This restaurant offers Southern inspired cuisine & beautifully crafted cocktails. The ambience is gorgeous it transports you back to the vibrant era of the Harlem Renaissance. The decor celebrates the rich heritage of old musicians, singers, and jazz luminaries. The chic fusion of history and elegance with luxurious experience definitely gives the ambience a 10/10! Overall this restaurant receives a SR Rating: A+. I was able to try the Chefs Special Menu that is now available to all and OMG it was DELICIOUS fr. Let’s start off with I have no favs, everything was a 10/10. If I could choose my top 3 favs: 🥗 “The Ol’Skool Salad” was fire because of that Poppyseed Dressing made by Chef @boots_bites . He made the sauce from scratch in 1995 and it’s making me fall in love in 2024 😂🔥 ✨ “The Mack “N” Cheese” was made with imported noodles and made with the sharpest cheddar, ugh so delicious 🤤 I’m not even a breadcrumbs girl but I didn’t even mind it. 🍴”Victorias Signature Fried Chicken & Biscuit” was so good like marinated for days good! Very crispy but so soft and tender in the middle. Plus the biscuit was so soft and fluffy and came with a strawberry jam! The drinks were exquisite and exuded elegance. They are inspired by the neighborhood’s rich historical tapestry. Plus the service was outstanding. They check on you constantly but still give you your space and they are very warm. These were my Top 5 Best restaurants during my recent trip to New York City. Everybody knows that NYC, like its rat problem, is overflowing with amazing restaurants so it was incredibly difficult to narrow it down to five of my best eats/favourite spots in NYC. 🍝 VIA CAROTA - 5 on the NYT best restaurants list. It’s also better known as Taylor Swift’s favourite restaurant. It serves seasonal home style Italian food. Yes the pasta is good but come and eat all the veg as the veg dishes are so moreish and there’s such variety! 🇺🇸 ESTELA - no. 11 on NYT list. It is “modern American” whatever that may mean but it was my FAVOURITE meal of the entire trip. That fried arroz negro lives rent free in my head and I would buy a ticket just to go back and eat that one dish. 🍗 ATOBOY - no. 30 on NYT list. It’s run by some very famous people in the food world (owners of world renowned Atomix). There’s a super affordable Korean tasting menu that is fun and flirty but still has that familiar homeliness which is what makes Korean food so delicious. 🦞 CERVO’S - super vibey serving up Spanish and Portuguese inspired dishes - lots of seafood and delicious things to choose from. Super vibey and I would recommend a bar seat so you can see the chefs hard at work. 🍝 MISIPASTA - delicious delicious Italian small plates. It’s a deli by day and waterhole and delicious food spot at night.
