👇HIKE DETAILS 👇 📍Waihe’e Ridge Trail 🥾Total length: 4.0 miles 🥾Type of hike: out & back 🥾Elevation gain: 1,591 ft 👇Trail Tips👇 1️⃣Try to go a time when it’s been dry, as the trail can get very muddy towards the top if it’s been raining 2️⃣The trail opens at 7 AM, and I highly encourage getting there right around then so you don’t have to hike an extra mile from the overflow parking area. Plus it’s cooler in the mornings 3️⃣Make sure your phone is fully charged, there are so many amazing views that you’ll probably want to capture 4️⃣The trail is rated as Hard on all trails, but if you bring enough water and stop every now and then it’s more manageable 5️⃣Check the weather radar to see if there’s a time you can go where it won’t be cloudy at the top (every time we’ve hiked it, it has been 6️⃣There’s a picnic table at the top, I highly recommend packing a lunch to enjoy up there. 👇Tag your favorite hiking buddy in the comments!👇 #hiketok #hiking #hikergirl #besthikes #mauihike #MauiHikes #mauiblogger #travelblogger #idhikethat

Marvel at the iconic 'Īao Needle, soaring 1,200 feet high, and enjoy a refreshing stroll along the Wailuku River.  ⛰️ Waihe'e Ridge: Offering breathtaking views of the majestic West Maui Mountains and the ocean, Waihe'e Ridge ranks among our top hikes on the island. This 4-mile out-and-back trail is considered moderate to challenging, with most of the hike uphill. Weather conditions can make the trail slippery and muddy, so caution is advised.  🌊Twin Falls: Get a taste of Hana without the Road to Hana journey at Twin Falls. Arrive early as parking fills up fast. Expanded parking is now available at $10 per car, supporting local farms and trail maintenance. The 1.8-mile out-and-back trail showcases views of two waterfalls, with one suitable for swimming. The first waterfall is easily accessible, while reaching the second is more challenging, due to multiple river crossings.   ⛰️'Ohai Loop Trail: Located past the Nakalele Blowhole, accessible from West Maui, the 'Ohai Loop Trail is an easy 1.2-mile out-and-back trail with ocean views throughout, particularly enjoyable in the cooler temperatures of West Maui!  🏝️ Kapalua Coastal Trail: Discover stunning views along the Kapalua Coastal Trail, a favorite among easygoing hikes. This 2.5-mile out-and-back trail passes three beaches, volcanic rock cliffs, and two resorts. While relatively easy, there is some elevation gain and narrow sections, so be mindful of your footing here!
