The concept of “love languages” — which are ways that people like to express and receive affection — was developed by a minister named Gary Chapman. The five love languages are: 1. Words of affirmation (compliments) 2. Quality time 3. Gifts 4. Acts of service 5. Physical touch It’s smart to be aware that the love language you most prefer to *give* affection in may not be the same as the one the woman you’re dating most prefers to *receive* affection in. It’s super common for women to love physical touch, and for guys to feel afraid giving it, for example! All the more reason to ask this question 😏 It’s a good one after you’ve been on a date or two!
