I’m no dancer or hula dancer. Sorry if my clumsy moves offend you and your culture. A month before the trip to Hawai’i. I found a short video on youtube about hula dancing and felt in love with it’s grace and cultural meaning. It’s impossible to find hula teacher in interior Alaska so I taught myself some basic hula moves and practice on my fav songs thanks to tutorial videos on youtube. It’s my honor to dance such beautiful song on the stunning beach of Hawai’i. I could feel the connection between the people and the land, the sea while I dance, and understand why the native love and be proud of their home. Such a beautiful culture I’m lucky enough to experience. #hawaii #huladance #polynesianculture
