The best hotel room view in NYC?! Checked into Virgin Hotels New York City in Midtown with my bestie for a pre-Christmas weekend in New York City and still cannot get over the view of Empire State Building from our room window! Prices start from £159 for a double room in Jan and Feb (though it’s more if you upgrade to the Sky Chamber Empire View like we did) - and expect higher seasonal prices like we did if you’re in NYC in December! Location: 🍎 Midtown - Broadway Apart from a subway ride to Brooklyn, we walked the entire trip. It’s 2 minutes from Fifth Avenue for holiday shopping, 8 minutes from Koreatown and 10-15 to Times Square. We walked to the High Line and all around the West Village, Greenwich and Chelsea Market too - so it’s a perfect base! Compact (but spacious enough for 2 people in NYC). There’s a hotel restaurant onsite that can be booked separately - prices are high though compared to the other spots nearby but you can catch the Empire State Building view from there too without being a hotel guest! Unless otherwise disclosed, we were paying customers and this wasn’t a work trip (though it turned into one because I wanted to document it all as tips on things to do and things to eat in NYC for you!) so we paid for everything ourselves! BRING ON NYC REELS WEEK! Before I dive back into the Hong Kong food and travel series, want to post daily videos on things to do in New York City over Christmas, the holidays and in December! #nyc #newyorkcity #nychotels #hotelsinnyc #nycchristmas #nycchristmas2023 #nycchristmasitinerary #newyorkcitychristmas #midtown #virginhotelsnyc #broadway #koreatown #empirestatebuilding #nycviews #nychotelreview #nychotelroom #hotelroomtour #thingstodoinnyc #thingstoeatinnyc
