This is such a great date night spot. The service is amazing and the food and drinks are so good. It’s owned by a DC native and he’s seriously the nicest person ever. You can find him seating patrons, serving food, making drinks, you name it. Highly recommend the Virginia cheddar croquettes, the cinnamon spiced short rib, the pierogi, the mushroom gnocchi, and the cinnamon apple ice cream. It was all so delicious. Kitchen and Kocktails in DC offers an exceptional brunch experience. The drinks were impressive, and a little potent! The food was delicious overall, and the music created the perfect ambiance. The perfect amount of spice FOR ME and so much flavor. - 🌟 Seasoned to perfection, these oxtails were delicious smothered in that gravy and paired perfectly with that good rice and cabbage. - 🥩 The well seasoned jerk lamb chops and this cheesy mac hit my soul every time. They have some of the best mac and cheese to me. - 🥇 I highly recommend the 1 Love Platter, which comes with your choice of two meats and two sides. I hit the jackpot with the salmon (salmon was FIRE 😋😮‍💨) and curry chicken, can't go wrong! - 🌈 The flavors and quality of the rasta pasta with jerk chicken and oxtails blessed my entire day. Keith Lee needs to try this dc restaurant when he visits. 😋 10/10 - They stay open late night and there is a side window for to go orders if you don’t want to dine in. We went around 11 and the wait wasn’t too crazy. I’m not exaggerating about everything being really good. Every dish was really flavorful and the portions were a great size.
