How to Create a Digital Planner with Hyperlinks in Canva. Open Canva and create a new design with "US Letter" dimensions. Pick a background that suits your style. For this example, I’ve used a grey wood background, but feel free to choose what you like best. Insert a rectangle shape, choose your preferred color, and position it in the center of the design. Search for a binder ring element in Canva’s library to give your planner a realistic touch. Add rectangle shapes for your tabs. You can add as many tabs as you need for different sections of the planner. Select all your tabs, align them properly, and send them to the back layer. To make your design more lifelike, add shadows to your tabs. I recommend using a line shadow, sending it to the back, and reducing the transparency for a subtle effect. Follow the same steps to add a shadow to your binder ring for a consistent look. If you need more tabs at the top of the planner, repeat the previous steps: align, send them to the back, and apply shadows. Add text to each tab to indicate the section they represent. Customize your planner’s cover to match your style and theme. Create the inner pages of your planner, such as daily, weekly, and monthly layouts. Label each page so it’s easier to organize and link them later. To hyperlink your tabs or text, select the text, click on the three dots, and choose "Link." Then, select the corresponding page to link to. Once everything is set, download your planner as a PDF. Open your planner in a note-taking app like GoodNotes to start using it. Congratulations! Your digital planner is ready to use.
