AD | I’ve partnered with @krogerco to share our family’s favorite Oreo frozen dairy dessert! I wanted to make a sundae bar for my grand babies so I grabbed all their favorite toppings and added them to a snackle box so they could easily add all their favorites to the Oreo frozen treat. Kimberley Queen ferns have quickly become one of my favorite potted plants! I’ve been growing them the past few years and love them! They are so easy to care for and are a fern that tolerates some sun. Repotting Kimberley’s will help them grow into a big and beautiful statement, especially when planted in a large urn like this one from @betterhomesandgardens. *TIP!!! To save on potting soil, I will remove the original growers pot and place it upside down inside the planter to take up space. You can also use recycled water bottles or containers too! I picked up this Kimberley Queen and the planter @Walmart for $32 total! This would make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift idea too! The link to the urn style planter is in my LTK (link in my profile)! #edwardsfarmstead #edwardsfarmsteadhome #porchdecor #porchpots #kimberlyfern #ferns #bhghome #bhgflowers #mycountryhome #gardening #gardeningtips #getgrowing #miraclegro #walmartfinds #fyp #foryourpage #foryou #gardentok

If you love zinnias but maybe not all the bright colors that come in a mix…looking at you yellow zinnias! Do this instead…buy individual seed packets in colors you do love and even different types. For instance, the zinnia colors and varieties shown here in my garden are: 🌸Benary Giant White, Wine, and Salmon 🌸Oklahoma White, Ivory and Salmon 🌸Queen Lime Red I just opened the packets, dumped them in a tray, mixed them all together and direct sowed them in the ground after our last frost date. The result was absolutely beautiful and I only have the colors in my zinnia patch that I love! No more random yellows and no more planting in color blocks😉! I will forever plant my zinnias this way in the future. Will you give it a try with your favorite colors? #edwardsfarmstead #edwardsfarmsteadflowers #cutflowers #cutflowergarden #cutflowerfarm #zinnias #getgrowing #bhgflowers #fyp #foryou #foryourpage

My sourdough cinnamon roll recipe is perfect to make ahead and freeze for the holidays or Sunday mornings! I just take them out of the freezer and let them thaw in the fridge overnight. This recipe is so easy, quick and good! The perfect game day snack! I like to use canned chicken (don’t knock it till you try it😉)…it makes it so simple to throw together. You can use a rotisserie chicken too! We all despise blue cheese so we substitute for Ranch and shredded cheddar Jack. Are you team blue cheese or ranch?? Save this recipe (sharing it below) for your next game day menu! 1 pkg cream cheese 2 12.5 ounce cans cooked chicken 1/2 cup @hidden.valley ranch dressing 1/2 cup shredded cheese (I like Colby Jack or cheddar Jack) 1/3 cup @franksredhot sauce Preheat oven to 375. Put block of cream cheese in a 9x11 or 9x9 baking dish and soften in oven for 5 min. Add chicken, ranch, hot sauce and cheese to baking dish and mix together well. Bake on 375 for 20 min. Serve warm with celery sticks, tortilla chips or pita crackers (my favorite!). Homemade Powdered Sugar! This handy hack has saved me a time or two!! Did you know that you can make your own powdered sugar? It is so simple and good to know for those times when you don’t have an extra bag in the pantry! Not to mention, I honestly think it makes better icing! Full instructions to make your own powdered sugar are below❤️ To make homemade powdered sugar, will need 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. This amount will make approximately 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar. So, if you need 4 cups powdered sugar for icing you will need to add 3 cups granulated sugar and 3 tablespoons cornstarch! Add the sugar/cornstarch to a high powered blender (I have a vitamix) or a good processor and blend on high speed. This can take 2-5 min depending on your blender/food processor. Check the consistency often. If the sugar still feels/tastes gritty, keep blending. Store in an airtight container! NOTE-my blender did cause the powered sugar to be warm after blending so if you’re using it for icing, you will need to wait until it has cooled completely before using! Be sure to save and share this post! And follow along for more homemaking tips! ❤️ #edwardsfarmstead #kitchenhacks #homemadepowderedsugar #homemaker #homemakingtips #fyp #foryou #foryourpage
