😴Using less blue light and more red light can help us sleep better at night. Here’s a way to limit the blue light on your phone during night hours. Hope this helps! You can also switch your bulbs in your house to red light instead of the bright white light. Common things that emit blue light: fluorescent lights LED lights televisions cell phones and tablets computer screens Blue light is a good thing during the day. 🛒Less Toxic Costco Favorites 🛒 Glass storage containers. The lids are plastic not the best option but still better than all plastic. DO NOT microwave your food in plastic containers as it releases more plastic into your food. Cast iron griddle/ pans are much better than teflon or nonstick option! Stainless steel or glass cups are a safer option than plastic. The straw is plastic so again not perfect but less toxic overall. A2 dairy (yogurt and milk) is beneficial because it’s more easily digestible. Once upon a farm pouches are one of my favorites although I try to make all of our food at home, when we’re in a bind it’s nice to have an organic option. @lesserevilsnacks popcorn is organic, NON GMO verified, and no seed oils so YUM! Kombucha is a great alternative to sodas! This one specifically has no added sugars super beneficial. None of us need more sugar. Organic sprouted pumpkin seeds, amazing option to add fiber for the kids! Make your own granola or throw it into yogurt with honey. 🐰Easter Swaps this year! 🍭🍬 I’m so grateful that less toxic options are available this year. To be honest I still don’t love all the ingredients because many contain seed oils that I won’t eat anymore. However, naturally dying candy with vegetable and fruit juices or tumeric, blackcurrant, etc. is very encouraging. It’s proof that it’s possible and we don’t need RED 40, YELLOW 5, BLUE 1, YELLOW 6, RED 3, etc. 🫶🏻please share with your bestie if this was helpful! The biggest dietary change I believe was causing inflammation in my body is getting rid of seed oils. Once you read the labels they’re in literally almost anything processed. I’d love if grocery stores cook be dye free and seed oil free. But I’ll keep dreaming. For now the best option is to: Read EVERY label Cook from scratch Buy organic whenever possible Shop the outer perimeter of the stores The oils I don’t consume are: Oils to avoid: Vegetable oil Canola oil Rice bran oil Soybean oil Corn oil Cottonseed oil Sunflower oil Safflower oil Grapeseed oil The better alternatives: Alternative oils to use: Olive oil Coconut oil Avocado oil Butter Ghee Beef Tallow #seedoils #diet #health #healthier #groceries #sahm #family #shopping
