Michael Kors @michaelkors will go down in history as a great American designer, but to me his legacy will be his philanthropy. The work he has done with his husband Lance LePere with God’s Love We Deliver, The AID’s Memorial at St. Vincent’s Triangle, and in June of last year participating in the grand opening of the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center. This evening in celebrating the opening of Mr. Kor’s new store on Madison Avenue Alan Cumming serenaded the guests at the iconic Bemelmans Bar. Mr. Cumming reminded us that the American dream is to be a success so you can hopefully give back to those less fortunate.
