As a 29 year-old disabled woman, I am where I am today because of section 504. Even though these 17 states claim they are only going against the new definitions that would modernize section 504, these 17 states are actively trying to eradicate this law in its entirety as they are ruling section 504 as “unconstitutional “ in their lawsuits.

This would eradicate the fights of justice that our ancestors fought for. I urge that if you’re living in one of the 17 states you contact your congresswoman/man and your state attorney.
