Here's how to recreate two looks from the show: Look 1: 1️⃣ Curl hair globally with a half-inch iron or smaller 2️⃣. Once cool, comb through with a wide-tooth comb. 3️⃣ Backcomb from midsection to base for volume. 4️⃣ To finish rouge small curl clusters to expand their shape. ✨Third Copper Formula✨ ❓How do you apply your full colors? 🍊 When a client requests one color, that doesn’t always mean we mix one tube and apply it from regrowth to ends and call it a day. 🍊 I like to design gradient hair color for my clients. ✨Pull-Through Copper Color✨ ❓Where do you start to pull through hair color from? 👨🏽‍🎨 Color that oxidizes gets progressively darker the longer it is exposed to oxygen. For this reason, I apply a full-color pull-through one step at a time. 👨🏽‍🎨 I start with a base formula first, which typically has a longer processing time. 👨🏽‍🎨 Next, I apply a second formula to the mid-lengths, starting at the nape and working my way to the front hairline. 👨🏽‍🎨 The ends of the hair are the driest parts of the strand and require the least amount of time to process with hair color. ✨Unique Curl Pattern✨ ⭐️ The role of a hairstylist on set is to manage hairstyles effectively. ⭐️ Things rarely go as planned, so it's important to have a few tricks up your sleeve to adapt while still staying true to the overall vision when needed. ⭐️ One technique I learned early in my career that has consistently saved me during editorial shoots is this curl method: 1️⃣ Begin by curling sections of hair under from the base with the curling iron's shell above and barrel below, stopping in the midsection, then release. 2️⃣ Next, switch the position: with the barrel above and the shell below, curl the bottom half of the hair in the opposite direction. ⭐️ By curling the hair globally using this pattern and varying the section sizes, you'll achieve a more organic curl pattern. Short Bouffant On Long Hair ✨ When recreating a client's request from an inspiration picture, our goal is not to just copy it.
