What a great start to the year, playing with friends, a perfect heel from puppy man, rabbit gave birth, rebted out the dock, and did lots of agility.

Goodbye 2024👋 This year has been the hardest and funnest with the best and the worst memories. I lost so much but I was also given incredible experiences and unforgettable memories. I met some people i hope will stay in my life for the rest of it. I lost some that i will and wont miss. There are things i cannot ever forgive myself for. I am so grateful to had the opportunities that i did and to have met the people and things that i have. Meeting archer was the greatest thing thats happened to me but the world wasnt ready for such an amazing soul, God knew i needed a dog that I could learn from and that would challenge me so he took away my heart dog and brought Koda into my life. Thank you to the amazing friends and mentors who have helped me through this tough year. #dogsoftiktok #dogcommunity #texthebrittanypup #archer💜 #fyp #4upage #servicedog #2025 #2024 #thankyou

I get asked almost daily where archer is. When people ask “wheres your poodle” i dont correct them on his breed snd just mumble hes at home. When they ask me “how is archer doing i havent seen him in a long time, where is he?” I just say hes fine and walk away. I don’t understand why the same people ask me these questions almost everysingle day. Most of the time i just walk away or quickly change the subject when i do respond i have to stare at Tex to try and keep myself from crying. How come people cant take a hint?

Tex has struggled a lot with anxiety and he woukd often have these horrible shut downs that lasted days. Over the summer he got an infection in his gut somewhere and it was definitely eye opening because the pain signs she showed then have been consistent with how he acts when he’s anxious. We really thought hard about this and decided he would would basically just get very littke exercise and almost no training until that was figured out. We took several months to only just focus ok his heslth, and it was the best thing for him. His anxiety was mostly because of his gut health still somewhat from being attacked. But hes so so much better now. He hasnt had any of those weird shutdown episodes since we finally figured out what was going on. Now he is more than thriving. He eats one time a day, 2 cups of PPP 30/20 sport and 1/2 a pack of farmers dog, with 2 native pet releif chews, 1 scoop of Nupro, and 1 purina calming care packet (this targets gut health). So please if your dog is having a hard time or struggling stop and focus on trying to find the root cause and focus on whatever the problem is before focusing on titles or tricks. Over the summer he broke his tooth, strained his acl, and had that bad gut infection so taking a long break was very helpful and all i can do is strongly recommend taking a break from training for a but with your dog. They wont go back in training, tex has done better now with everything than he did months ago without even attempring doing any of the stuff during his break.
