I found a dog by herself at the dog beach today. I noticed something was swimming toward the shore by the time she got there she was completely exhausted and could barley move.So I obviously went and got her . Just got news that she was with a dog sitter who had about 10 other dogs with him and forgot her at the beach!🤦🏽‍♂️ Please be mindful of who you let watch your dogs #dogtraining #dogsofinstagram #dog #dogs #dogtrainer #k #puppy #dogstagram #doglife #doglover #dogoftheday #doglovers #puppytraining #training #instadog #workingdog #puppylove #dogtrainingtips #dogsofinsta #puppiesofinstagram #dogphotography #germanshepherd #happydog #tampadogtraining #tampadogtrainer #obediencetraining #dogtrainingtampa #instagram #love #tampadogtrainer

Home Depot has quickly become one of my favorite spots to train dogs. It’s filled with plenty of stimulation, and the best part—they’re super dog-friendly! Training your dog in different environments is so important. If you only train at home or in quiet spaces, your dog might struggle to stay focused when you’re in busier, high-stimulation places. Exposure to new environments is key to building a well-rounded, reliable dog. So, get out there and challenge your training! #dogtraining #dogsofinstagram #dogtrainer #dog #dogs #k #puppy #doglife #doglover #puppytraining #dogstagram #dogoftheday #doglovers #training #workingdog #dogtrainingtips #instadog #puppylove #happydog #dogsofinsta #germanshepherd #obediencetraining #puppiesofinstagram #puppies #dogphotography #dogtrainingadvice #obedience #dogwalking #dogtrainersofinstagram #dogboarding

Home Depot can be a great environment for addressing a dog’s anxiety if used strategically. Here’s how: 1. Controlled Exposure • Start Small: Begin with short visits to less busy times (early mornings or late evenings). • Stay in the Car Lot: If the store is overwhelming at first, start by walking around the parking lot to expose your dog to new sounds and sights. 2. Focus on Positivity • Bring High-Value Treats: Use treats to reward calm behavior and build positive associations with the environment. • Praise Calmness: Verbally praise your dog for showing calmness and curiosity. 3. Gradual Desensitization • Short Sessions Inside: Walk near the entrance or just inside to acclimate your dog to the sounds, smells, and people. • Distance is Key: Stay far enough from stressors (like forklifts or large crowds) to avoid overwhelming your dog. 4. Practice Training in the Aisles • Basic Commands: Work on commands like “sit,” “stay,” or “heel” in a low-distraction aisle. This builds confidence in your dog through familiar tasks. • Focus Games: Play focus-building games like “watch me” to help your dog ignore distractions. 5. Use Their Equipment Section • Check out Home Depot’s materials to create a DIY calming environment at home: • Soundproofing Supplies: For blocking out anxiety-inducing noises. • Crate Materials: Enhance your dog’s crate for comfort and security. • Chew Toys or Mats: Use items to engage their senses (like rubber floor mats for enrichment). 6. Monitor Stress Signals Watch for signs of stress like panting, yawning, or shaking. If your dog seems overwhelmed, step back or leave the environment and try again later. 7. Make It Fun Treat the outing as a bonding experience. Your calm energy will reassure your dog and help them feel secure in new environments. Have you tried using stores or other public spaces for training before? #dogtraining #dogsofinstagram #dogtrainer #dog #dogs #k #puppy #doglife #puppytraining #doglover #dogstagram #dogoftheday #doglovers #training #workingdog #dogtrainingtips #instadog #dogsofinsta #puppylove #germanshepherd #happydog #obediencetraining #puppiesofinstagram #puppies #dogphotography #dogtrainingadvice #dogwalking #dogtrainersofinstagram #obedience #dogslife

Using a metal platform at places like Home Depot can help build your dog’s confidence because it introduces them to new sensations, sounds, and textures in a controlled way. Here’s why it works: 1. Novelty Exposure • New Texture: The feel of a metal surface under their paws is different from what dogs typically encounter, challenging them to adapt. • Unusual Sound: Metal platforms can create noises when stepped on, teaching your dog to stay calm despite unexpected sounds. 2. Stability Training • Standing on a potentially wobbly or noisy surface encourages your dog to develop better balance and body awareness, fostering self-assurance. 3. Mental Stimulation • Tackling unfamiliar objects or environments engages their brain, boosting problem-solving skills and resilience. 4. Confidence through Success • Successfully navigating the platform reinforces your dog’s ability to overcome challenges, improving their overall self-confidence. 5. Real-World Application • These platforms mimic unpredictable situations they may face in real life, making them more adaptable in new environments. When using a metal platform, remember to introduce it gradually and positively. Reward your dog for calm behavior and make it a fun learning experience to avoid overwhelming them. #dogtraining #dogsofinstagram #dogtrainer #dog #dogs #k #puppy #doglife #puppytraining #doglover #dogstagram #dogoftheday #doglovers #training #workingdog #dogtrainingtips #instadog #dogsofinsta #puppylove #germanshepherd #happydog #obediencetraining #puppiesofinstagram #puppies #dogphotography #dogtrainingadvice #dogwalking #dogtrainersofinstagram #obedience #dogslife

Spending one on one time with my 6 month old pup diamond. Spending one-on-one time with each dog is crucial when you own multiple dogs for several reasons: 1. Strengthening Individual Bonds: Individual attention deepens the relationship between you and each dog, helping them feel valued and connected to you personally. 2. Tailored Training: Every dog learns at their own pace and has unique strengths and weaknesses. One-on-one time allows you to focus on their specific training needs without distractions from other dogs. 3. Building Confidence: Some dogs may be overshadowed by more dominant or outgoing pack members. Individual time helps shy or submissive dogs build confidence. 4. Reducing Overstimulation: In a group, dogs can get overstimulated or distracted. One-on-one time fosters a calmer and more focused environment. 5. Meeting Specific Needs: Each dog has unique physical and emotional needs. Spending individual time ensures all their needs are met, from exercise to mental stimulation. 6. Strengthening Pack Harmony: Dogs that feel fulfilled individually are less likely to compete for your attention, reducing jealousy and promoting harmony in the group. By dedicating time to each dog, you create a happier, more balanced pack while nurturing your relationship with every member. #dogtraining #dogsofinstagram #dogtrainer #dog #dogs #k #puppy #doglife #puppytraining #doglover #dogstagram #dogoftheday #doglovers #training #workingdog #dogtrainingtips #instadog #dogsofinsta #puppylove #germanshepherd #happydog #obediencetraining #puppiesofinstagram #puppies #dogphotography #dogtrainingadvice #dogwalking #dogtrainersofinstagram #obedience #dogslife

While I train, so does Diamond! At just 6 months old, she’s learning to stay in place while I exercise, and during my breaks, she gets the freedom to run as her reward. A solid “stay” isn’t just a command—it’s a foundation for impulse control and safety in any situation. Training doesn’t have to take extra time; you can build it seamlessly into your daily life! #dogtraining #dogsofinstagram #dogtrainer #dog #dogs #k #puppy #doglife #puppytraining #doglover #dogstagram #dogoftheday #doglovers #training #workingdog #dogtrainingtips #instadog #dogsofinsta #puppylove #germanshepherd #happydog #obediencetraining #puppiesofinstagram #puppies #dogphotography #dogtrainingadvice #dogwalking #dogsoftiktok #obedience #dogslife

Running the opposite direction after calling your dog’s name taps into their prey drive or natural instinct to chase. It makes recall fun and engaging, transforming it into a game rather than a command. This method works especially well because: 1. Movement is exciting: Dogs are drawn to movement, so running away becomes irresistible to them. 2. Positive reinforcement: When they catch up to you, you can reward them with praise, treats, or play, reinforcing the recall behavior. 3. Encourages focus: Your sudden movement redirects their attention to you, especially if they were distracted. This technique is great for building a strong recall foundation, particularly in young or playful dogs. Over time, you can phase out the running and still maintain a reliable recall. #dogtraining #dogsofinstagram #dogtrainer #dog #dogs #k #puppy #doglife #puppytraining #doglover #dogstagram #dogoftheday #doglovers #training #workingdog #dogtrainingtips #instadog #dogsofinsta #puppylove #germanshepherd #happydog #obediencetraining #puppiesofinstagram #puppies #dogphotography #dogtrainingadvice #tampadogtrainer #dogtrainertampa #obedience #dogslife

Dogs learn a lot through social modeling, just like humans do. By surrounding the wiener dog with my well-trained, balanced dogs, I’m giving it a chance to observe and emulate calm, socially appropriate behaviors. Dogs naturally adapt to the energy and behavior of their pack, and having role models that don’t overreact or escalate situations sets a strong foundation for their social development. It’s great that my dogs can tolerate the quirks of others without overreacting—it makes them excellent mentors. Consistent exposure to these positive interactions will help the wiener dog build confidence, learn boundaries, and understand how to communicate effectively in different social settings. #dogtraining #dogsofinstagram #dogtrainer #dog #dogs #k #puppy #doglife #puppytraining #doglover #dogstagram #dogoftheday #doglovers #training #workingdog #dogtrainingtips #instadog #dogsofinsta #puppylove #germanshepherd #happydog #obediencetraining #weineedogsoftiktok #tampadogtrainer #dogphotography #dogtrainingadvice #tampadogtraining #dogsoftiktok #obedience #dogslife
