~ In Oregon our way of coping with life’s hard days is, we would escape to any place no matter rain or shine to appreciate the beautiful country we live in. We lost that as soon as we got here to our new home in North Carolina, my husband has been working his tail off starting a great company that is going to give well paid & benefited jobs to (so that occupies a lot of his time) & I have been trying to find a routine and create a home in a 33 foot travel trailer while looking for our new home here. This morning I chose mental health over responsibility & I know we all (Brody & Loki - our fur angels) appreciate the break from reality even in the pouring rain.
It has healing & transformative wandering through the woods of our new home state.
