Seven days in Hong Kong in this 5-minute beauty shopping video. Our rule of thumb when we shop abroad is to only buy brands or products not available in Manila. This narrows down our choices and makes us more productive. 😅 We found a lot of new discoveries and ticked off many on our wishlist from this trip. Some must-visits for beauty shopping and some extra tips: K11 Musea. A must-visit not just for shopping but for the views and architecture. Sasa at Nathan Road near Holiday Inn. This is a pretty big branch so if you’re visiting this iconic drugstore in the city, this is a good option. Walk over to the iSquare mall across the street and check out Twist, a massive outlet store of luxury brands at wildly good prices. Lane Crawford Harbour City has most luxury beauty brand names with a good inventory. Walk across to Facesss for countless brand popups as well as Asian beauty finds. Pacific Place. This also has Lane Crawford, Harvey Nichols, and several beauty boutiques for a more chill type of shopping. Then dine at La Vache for really good steak frites! Harbour City. For the good old HK shopping feels and a good selection of niche fragrance brands. IFC Mall for Sephora, fragrance shopping, and more. Share your tips and finds too! ✨✨✨

·2022-5-21Our @rarebeauty obsession of the (past) year: Find Comfort. It all started with the Hair and Body Mist—a perfect entry point into this fragrance line. From that first spritz, we were hooked and haven’t missed a single drop since. The line’s star quality lies in its signature scent, a blend that’s equal parts soothing and fresh. Expect notes of zesty bergamot, comforting lavender, and creamy sandalwood, with a touch of soft musk that lingers beautifully on the skin. When we first experienced the Hair and Body Mist, we couldn’t help but draw comparisons to one of our all-time favorites, Byredo’s Bal d’Afrique—a cult classic known for its rich, creamy mix of vetiver, neroli, and marigold with a subtle sweetness. However, Find Comfort veers in its own direction: a zestier, more uplifting version that feels a little lighter and brighter on the skin. But here’s where it gets interesting: the Eau de Parfum. This is where Find Comfort really steps out of Bal d’Afrique’s shadow and into its own. It’s not just a scent—it’s an experience. Think of it as a soft, cozy hug in fragrance form. It’s a beautiful, skin-hugging scent that’s effortlessly comforting, universally appealing, and refreshingly easy to wear. Perfect for every day, Find Comfort lives up to its name. 🫶 Thought of sharing this because so many from this line are currently on sale at @sephoraph! We just checked out the hand cream and pen at 50% off! Check out the rest! ✨

·6h ago The @Benefit Cosmetics PH Mighty Fine Brow Pen is one of the finest we’ve tried, with a triple-tip design that creates strokes so fine, they mimic the look of real brow hairs. It’s also waterproof. Ideal for those looking for the microbladed effect, it works best on clean, dry brows for that perfect, long-lasting definition. A few flicks is all it takes, with no complicated technique required. We’re no strangers to triple tip brow products, and we find the tech especially beneficial for those who have sparse areas to fill (like us!). For an extra boost, pair it with your favorite brow gel. We just tried it today with the 24H Brow Setter.

·1-14When the merch is as fantastic as the collection. The Issy Mousse Blurring Lip Stain is the ultimate matte tint, offering the best of both worlds. It hydrates like a balm while enveloping your lips in a soft, velvety finish. Though matte, it retains a touch of dimension, never feeling flat or drying. As a tint, it leaves a delicate stain of color even after a coffee break or a swipe of tissue. Available in 10 versatile shades, some standout favorites are Slip, a perfect rosy nude; Mischief, a warm rose; and Bitten, a sophisticated mulberry. For something playful, Tickle—a kittenish pink—adds a fun pop. In case you missed Issy’s Pinktopia, which launched its Mousse Blurring Lip Stain alongside all the brand’s coolest merch, it’s still at SM Makati till next week! #issypinktopia @Issy Cosmetics

·2024-8-27Part 1 of our favorite finds from #MitsukoshiBeauty. Do not sleep on the last product we talked about in this video! What some don’t know is that many of our favorites from Japan, as well as cult J-Beauty brands are now available at Mitsukoshi Beauty in BGC (and online at its official Lazada store). The store is compact enough not to overwhelm, and big enough to feature the best variety. Here we share some essentials we think are worth discovering. #Naturie’s Hatumogi Skin Conditioner is a staple in Japan and used by 1 in 5 women! We discovered this several years ago through the recommendation of a friend, and have hoarded this ever since. You can imagine how delighted we are it’s finally here at such an accessible price point. Waphyto is a premium, plant-based skincare line that uses the finest ingredients. We have relied on this for skin emergencies, as well as scalpcare. A must-discover when you go to Mitsukoshi BGC. Maxwell’s Angelique shaver is the best we’ve tried for our brows. We used to buy this in Hong Kong, but now it’s here! We like how it is able to shape our brows better and faster. K-Palette needs no introduction. Its Real Lasting Eyebrow is a testament to Japanese brands’ commitment to making truly groundbreaking products that become holy grails. This iconic brow pen has reformulated just a few times since it launched, and will always be something we keep going back to. #Kobako is a famous beauty tools brand in Japan. Every product we’ve tried from Kobako just makes us believe. Take for instance the eyelash curler–the lightest, handiest one that truly does the job. Check it out and how it works for us in the video. Finally, #Canmake’s new Metal Look Mascara is another holy grail in the making. The metal wand is designed to create clustered lashes that look like extensions. It delivers as promised and holds the lift and curl all day and without smearing and smudging. A MUST-HAVE.

·2024-8-18Here’s what it’s like to attend a perfume workshop in Paris! We think it’s a delightful, must-experience for fragrance enthusiasts. Here we share our key takeaways about how perfumes are made, what truly matters, and some insider secrets we were made to understand. We tried to condense every important detail in this video, so do take your time to watch if you’re a perfume lover! The highlight of the workshop, of course, was making our own perfume. The workshop fee included one 50ml personalized fragrance, but we just decided to pay extra for another bottle since we couldn’t decide on just one. ✨@CANDORA | Ateliers Parfum🧡 Got Qs?
