Never buy fish from Petco. I bought one as a tankmate for my fancy goldfish, Caspian. It quickly died but not before introducing and infecting her with aquatic lice. It took more than a week for her to start acting strange and for the brown “spots” to appear. I brought her out and pulled those suckers off one by one with tweezers, but it was too late. 😩
