Please hear this promise that I say, when life’s at the end of its rope I promise every single cloud will, in time, cease of rain That the morning sun will surely chase dark shadows all away I swear to offer comfort if I cannot bear your pain I promise to be present until the night evolves to day When apathy begins to numb your sense of self belief And the tomb of silent suffering whispers calls of sweet relief I pledge myself available to hold space without advice And just listen, be, whatever you need to keep you in this life. White Chicken Chili: Ingredients: - 2x Chicken Breasts - 1x Onion diced - 1x Canned Corn (drained) - 2x Canned White Beans (drained) - 1x 4oz Canned Green Chili - 1 cup - Salsa Verde - 3 cups - water - 1 Tbs - Chicken Bouillon - Season with Garlic Powder, Salt, & Pepper Preparation: 1. Place all ingredients in a crockpot, and cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4 hours. 2. After cooking, remove chicken breasts then shred with forks on a separate plate. 3. Optional, using an immersion blender, blend some of the chili until you get the desired consistency. 4. What a fantastic weekend!! Went out to my very first #MagicCon and it was SO wonderful! . Thank you @Magic: The Gathering for inviting me out to be a small part of this amazing convention! Played some #dungeonsanddragons in front of an awesome audience, lost a bunch of fun commander games with friends lol, and got to see one of the best DND LIVE Shows ever with Aabria Iyengar as dungeon master with some of the fantastic BG3 Voice Actors! I was laughing and charmed throughout the whole show. I had some of the best food in Chinatown Chicago, and finally had a chance to get some new ink for my slowly evolving tattoo sleeve!! Strawberry Tavern Cake: Ingredients: 1 cup - flour ¾ cup - sugar ½ tsp - baking powder Pinch of salt 1 egg ½ cup melted unsalted butter 1 tsp- vanilla extract ½ cup - strawberry puree ½ cup - strawberries chopped Preparation: Preheat your oven to 350 f (175 c). In a mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together. Prepare strawberry puree by blending or mashing ½ cup of fresh strawberries. In another mixing bowl, add egg, melted butter, vanilla extract, and strawberry puree. Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly but don’t overmix. Gently fold in fresh chopped strawberries. Grease a 9x9 baking pan and pour in batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted into the center of the pan and come out cleanly. Mundane’s Porridge! “There is magic in the mundane.” . Ingredients: - 1 cup - rolled oats - 1 cup - water - 1 cup - almond milk (or milk of choice) - pinch of salt - 1 banana - 1/4 cup - brown sugar - 2 Tbsp - unsalted butter - 1 tsp - vanilla extract - pinch of ground cinnamon . Preparation: 1. In a sauce pan, combine oats, water, milk, and salt. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook for about 10 minutes or until the oats thicken into a porridge. 2. In a skillet, melt butter then add brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon. Cook until sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes. 3. Add sliced banana into the sugar, then cook for another minute. 4. Wonderfully simple and incredibly rich! 🍫 . Red Velvet Hot Chocolate: . 1/2 cup - semi sweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup - white chocolate chips 1/2 cup - red candy melts 2 cups - whole milk 1/2 tsp - vanilla extract .
