Finally tried Singapore's first Samgyetang specialty restaurant Modu, who prides itself on boyang-sik - foods intended for boosting health or aiding recovery. We had the 2-gather set which comprises an assortment of dishes for two. From the six flavours of samgyetang here, you could choose two and we went for the Collagen Herbal and Beauty. I really enjoyed the former - sweet, clean with a light herbaceous note. The broths here are all refillable as well. Each ginseng chicken comes with free-flow banchan of which the radish kimchi was so good and addictive. This set also comes with an appetiser and a choice of side dish. We had the potato pancake and it was so crispy and moreish. ·1d ago Chix Hot Chicken is one of the few places in Singapore to get Nashville Hot Chicken where you can also choose your spice level for your chicken! They have various burgers and sliders to choose from, of which I had the Breakfast Slider. The chicken was fried superbly and I really recommend getting the Hot level of spice if you really want a kick. This slider comes with velvety scrambled eggs and a moreish pink sauce. ·2d ago This omakase in Tanjong Pagar was đ€ We tried the premium omakase at Miraku which includes: - House Appetiser - Penshell with pear and orange citrus miso (Seasonal) - Hyogo Oyster (seasonal) - Deep-fried Halibut with Spicy Miso - Sashimi - Chutoro with egg yolk sauce and wasabi - A4 Hokkaido Sukiyaki - Nigiri: golden eye snapper, silver pomfret, golden threadfin, halfbreak fish, barracuda fish) - Toro Maki - Uni handroll - Castella Tamago - Uni Ikura Rice Bowl - White Miso Soup - Japanese orange Daifuku My favourite bites had to be the chutoro which simply melted in my mouth (best tuna I've ever had!) as well as the uni handroll which was soooo buttery and sweet (also best uni I've ever had!).
