My favorite hack to make a vanity builder grade mirror look customized is as easy as framing it with chair rail moulding. I picked the fluted one for a modern and simple look and left it in wood color. But you can stain it or paint it. What do you think, would you try it?

·19h ago Which one is your favorite as DIYER? I can definitely tell you I do all of them, but my favorite after #1 is “I’ll clean as I go” 😂 that never happens, I always end up with tools everywhere, saw dust on the floor and chaos everywhere! But one day I’ll make if! 😅 #diyproject #diylife #funvideo #diyhome #womenwhodiy #homeprojects #homeimprovements #diyersoftiktok #creatorsearchinsights

·1d ago An area rug is more than just a floor covering; it’s a way to inject color, texture, and pattern into your bedroom while offering a soft, welcoming touch under your feet every morning. But getting the right size for your area rug is crucial to maintain a proportional and balanced look in your room. Here’s a quick guide to make it right: 🛏 Two Twin Beds – Use a 6’x9’ or 8’x10’ under both beds for a cohesive look or a runner (2.5’x7’) between them. 🛏 Queen Bed – Go for at least an 8’x10’ so you have soft landing space on all sides. 🛏 King Bed – A 9’x12’ gives the best proportion and comfort. If your rug isn’t large enough to anchor your bed, your space won’t feel complete! Save this decor tip for your next rug update. 🏡✨ Shop this post on my LTK under prettyhome_with_clausi. https://liketk.it/56E29 #rugbedroom #homedecor #bedroomdecoration #decortips_bedroom #bedroomdesigntips #creatorsearchinsights #bedroomrug #decortip #homedecortips

·3d ago You won’t believe how much a simple weekend DIY can boost your home’s value! Most homeowners regret not making small upgrades sooner, and one of the easiest ways to add curb appeal and increase resale value is by painting your front door! According to Zillow, homes with a black front door can sell for up to $6,449 more, while navy blue and charcoal are also high-value colors. Deep or muted green doors are also trending, adding a fresh, welcoming feel! I painted mine green, and while I’m not moving anytime soon, I love how it transformed my entryway. ·3d ago Want that smooth, factory-like finish when painting doors? Here’s the secret: Use an angled brush to get into the edges and details first, then follow up with a foam roller for a flawless, streak-free look. No more brush marks, no more uneven coverage—just a perfectly painted door!Pro Tip: Use a high-quality self-leveling paint for an even smoother finish. ·1w ago What a difference some paint make, don’t you think? If you want your bedroom to feel warm, moody, and sophisticated, Jogging Path is the way to go! It’s a perfect greige, soft, cozy, and just deep enough to add character without feeling too dark. Pair it with Alabaster walls for a dreamy, timeless contrast. ·1w ago I love making my home pretty one DIY project at a time but as a busy and single mom it’s important to stay on a budget. I used to put a lot of pressure on me to finish quickly but this is what I’ve learned so far: 1. Finishing a project as quick as possible! I take my time now. Even if I can only do a little each day, progress is still progress. 2. Using designer-brand paint. I color match expensive brands to get the same look for less. 3. Buying all new decor. I refresh what I have with DIY makeovers, thrift flips, or simple swaps like pillow covers. 4. Having every fancy tool. I have the right tools and make it work with what I have (or ask my neighbor to borrow me one 😂), I also wait for a sales to get a tool that could be useful. If you don’t care either. ·2-18Most people just slap a tiny square on the wall, but here’s what actually works: * Paint large swatches in a white paper and place it in multiple spots around the room. * Look at them throughout the day: morning, afternoon, and night. * Pay attention to the lighting, warm bulbs or cool bulbs will change the color of the paint. * Check against your decor: furniture, floors, and even countertops can affect how the color looks. Had I done this, I wouldn’t have wasted time (or money) repainting! Learn from my mistake before picking your next color. ·2-18I used the art hanging trick and knowing this trick was a total lifesaver when installing these handles! The front of the drawers are curved, so my usual template didn’t have a chance, but a laser level and blue tape saved the day! 😁 Here’s how I did it: ✨ Put blue tape on the handles ✨ Poked the holes to mark exactly where to align them ✨ Used a laser level to get them straight ✨ Drilled the holes No jig needed! Perfect installation, no guesswork. Definitely using this trick again! #DIYProjects #HomeImprovement #DIYHacks #DrawerHandles #handytips #diytips #bluetapehack #handleinstallation #diytutorial #hardwareinstallation

·2-15Yes, your first DIY project will suck, but it’s OK. We all have to start somewhere. My first DIY was painting one wall that turned out to be a hassle because I got a cheap paint which coverage was terrible! So I end up doing like 5+ coats, when I was finally done my back hurt, my arms hurt and my neck hurt and I said I’d never do that again! Fast forward a couple of years I did it again but this time, I did a research l, got the right paint and supplies and the result was so much better! And I haven’t stop since then. So just start and learn from your DIY projects 😃 What was your first DIY and how it turned out? #diylife #diyjourney #diygirl #homeimprovements #homedecor #furnitureflipper #furnituremakeover #paintedfurniture #diyhome #entertainmentcenter #homemade
