When you’re too “Mormon” for some and not “Mormon” enough for others… Damned if you do and damned if you don’t so you might as well just do whatever you want… I definitely understand that we may believe different even within the church and we may not agree with everything, but I do think there should be a level of empathy and also living your own life. You have to find what makes you happy and feel peace. For me, it happens to be living the Gospel of Jesus Christ and being a member of the Church. And that may not be the same for you. And that’s great! God isn’t exclusive to the church. We don’t have a monopoly on goodness. There is so much to learn from each other, if we just open our hearts and minds to other ways of thinking.
