Captains story: Captain was dumped on the side of the road paralyzed. He was brought into my work with no use of his hind end, no deep pain, unable to urinate/ defecate himself, and horrible skin. He was in animal controls custody who tried to find the owners who dumped him(couldnt) and were set to euthanize him bc “no one” wants a down dog with health problems. I immediately said “thats my new baby”. Everyone called me crazy saying he would probably never walk again and I said idc, im giving him a shot and I kept hope he was gonna get better(🤞🏼) After about 7 DAYS with me and the amazing team of techs and doctors helping him, he was starting to improve, he went through intense treatments(HBOT, rehab, injections, PT.
