So this is the moment that I blindfolded all my guests, and I walked down the aisle on my #wedding day… Myself and Ollie thought it would be a really good idea to blindfold him as well, as when I got to the end, and my dad passed my hand to Ollie he was able to feel my wedding dress in the exact way that I felt it when I first had it on. This was such an important experience for us both even though Ollie isn’t blind, but we thought it was really important for him and all of my guests to experience what it’s like for me in the most important moment of our life so far. As you can see me, Ollie and my dad are really struggling to hold it together. It was such an emotional moment and one that I will remember for the rest of my life. I am so lucky that I have a husband that accepts me for exactly who I am my disability and everything. The whole me. I walked down the aisle to arrival of the birds by @The Cinematic Orchestra, as this is the song at the end of one of my favourite films, the Theory of Everything. Stephen Hawking has been a massive role model in my life and I always cry at the end of that movie at his final monologue. I really believe in the philosophy that we are all just small beings and atoms on this massive planet and Stephen taught me that you can love and hate your disability equally, and that’s a truly beautiful thing. It’s a sense of self that I’ve had to work on and I felt truly independent when walking down the aisle with my dad to this song. This is quite an emotional and raw moment to share with you guys, but I thought it was so important as it’s not a typical way that a bride walks down the aisle but it was my way. Just remember you are so special and you don’t have to follow traditions if you don’t want to. Our wedding day is about you and the person that you love and every moment needs to feel right for you. Thank you to the amazing harpist @Amie True Music (gifted) for playing the main melody along with the 3D audio speakers from Delta Live that we had up the aisle so we could have immersive sound. Ollie made an arrangement so I could hear where I was. Every step I took the music evolved and so did the flowers! A truly blind experience!

Happy World Book Day everybody!! This was the first time I scanned the code a few weeks ago, and as you guys know, I adore @NaviLens - it can be placed on anything and it doesn’t just help the blind community. It makes so many more things accessible to me as a blind woman and if you’ve forgotten your reading glasses or want to translate something into a different language it really just is amazing. Do you reckon you could read a book with VoiceOver speaking this quickly? 😂 Everyone tells me they can’t understand what it’s saying hehe. What are you reading this World Book Day? I’m on the third book of a Court Of Thorns and Roses and in my romantasy era! Hope you’re having a lovely day ❤️ #WorldBookDay #Fantasy #Booktok #FantasyBookTok @Scholastic UK

I didn’t want under eye creases every time I put on my concealer. So I tried this viral product… it surprised me. They were so dry! I didn’t really know what to expect to be honest. #PeterThomasRoth #makeup #MakeupReview

When I was 17 years old I thought that I would never be able to experience fashion in the same way ever again… Since meeting Anna and the @Hair & Care CIC team I’ve known more about London Fashion week than I ever did before I lost my eyesight. I truly love being blind because it’s allowed me to feel fashion in a different way. The textures, the meaning behind the clothes and meeting gorgeous designers who really love what they do makes me so inspired to create. Every season I look forward to the touch tours and what Hair And Care has to offer. They really are a truly gorgeous charity with a big heart. I don’t know what I would do without lovely Anna in my life. She is a true one in a million person. This season was amazing and I want to thank all of the designers that took the time to chat to me it means the world. @LONDON FASHION WEEK #ChetLo #SSDaley #Roksanda #Fashion #HighFashion

I feel like a lemon standing on the side of the road not able to cross 💔 at times like these, I feel so stripped of my independence and it’s so debilitating. I know in my heart that I’m a loving wife, a sister, a great dog mum, a business owner, a presenter, an author but in this moment I felt like none of these. I just felt so disabled by the world around me and stripped of my sense of self. If you’re reading this and you can help me change policy please reach out to my team. No one should feel scared to cross the road in 2025 ❤️

I literally didn’t know what to do with this @Wonderskin 💋 lip stain because it felt so weird!! I’ve seen this everywhere online and wanted to give it a go as a blind woman. Do you like it? I got it from my bestie for Christmas and I didn’t know you had to wipe it off so I went round all day with purple on my lips!!!

Why is it so important to see Blind characters in storybooks? I asked the wonderful Betsy as an 11-year-old blind person what she thought. I was so happy to talk to her about Ella Jones Vs The Sun Stealer because Ella is such an independent 12-year-old blind hero that I would’ve loved to have seen when I was Betsy‘s age. I wanted Ella to exist in this world because when I was younger, I didn’t have any blind heroes to look up to that were just like me but now Ella exists and I feel so emotional that Betsy can have that representation I never did. I can’t believe today is launch day! Feb 13th felt like a long time coming but now it’s finally here! I am forever grateful to my amazing publishers @Scholastic UK and of course my lovely co-writer Katy Birchall ❤️ if you guys know anyone who would enjoy this book it’s available to buy right now. Still pinching myself that we have the same illustrators as Skandar and The Unicorn Thief. The link to purchase is in my bio ❤️ And I wanted to extend a thank you to the @RNIB for connecting me and Betsy and printing the Braille version of Ella Jones Vs The Sun Stealer. I’m so excited on the launch day of this amazing book that I am announcing that I’m now an RNIB ambassador! United, we want to show that you don’t just have to survive, you can thrive as a blind person. I can’t wait to make even more of a difference together!   #EllaJonesVsTheSunStealer #Blind #TIL #Representation

How does a blind girl meal prep? I’m so thankful that Ollie helped me stick all this braille onto magnets I bought from Amazon so I could work out what dishes are in my freezer that we’ve previously made. I don’t know what I’d do without this system and it took us quite a while to figure out. I hope this helps any of you out there wanting to label and organise. Got to love a bit of Tofoo! 😍 (not spon!) #MealPrep #MealPrepping #MealPrepIdeas
