Just a little thank you to everyone listening to “Hurts Right Now”❤️‍🩹 2 years ago I would come to this little pavilion and sing every day for hours to strengthen and better my voice. Today I sit here with two God-breathed singles out (one of which is on K-Love’s Future Hits station😭), the unforgettable experience of The Voice, and a year ahead of me packed with performances all over the country. When I was 14 I’d sit in my bedroom on my ukulele and pour my heart out in a way I could never begin to verbalize without the emotional intensity that music provides. Watching how God has used everything I’ve gone through in my life to lead me to poetic and lyrical writing feels like a piece of me unfolding. I can’t wait to see where else it flows.
