·1d ago #duet with @Ryan Thorsen #Aesthetic the volume recommendation I gave is a general guideline for the AVERAGE person. Some people may be able to tolerate more and some people may need less to properly recover. A workout like this for example would have majority of people under recovering if they wanted to hit chest more than once a week and I would recommend training it twice a week if you actually wanted to prioritize chest growth. Push ups are really only going to be useful if you’re a beginner since once you can press even 60-70% of your weight for reps you’re able to do way too many push ups for it to be beneficial for hypertrophy. This guy would be a good example of someone who push ups are essentially useless for since he could likely do 25-30+ reps if he wasn’t fatigued.

·6d ago 1. If you find doing higher rep ranges causes a burning sensation that may be causing you to end your set early you could try a more moderate rep range. 2. If you stop your sets because your short of breath then again lowering the rep range may help. 3. Longer rests between sets of 2-3min 4. Just like this video adjusting set up or technique slightly to better fit you. This will take some playing with as it’s individually specific. 5. Trying out my training teams so you can get some good programming and direct help with your form in my team chat!
