Introducing my new series understanding the stock market for beginners. I am going to cover the stock market basics for beginners inspired by my viral series where I gave a presentation to 8th graders explaining how investing in the stock market works. This is an 8 part series (maybe more) explaining the ins and outs of the stock market. I also had a fun little creative spurt and found a new way to explain stocks and the stock market and investing for beginners women. Yay! #Stockmarket101 #investingforwomen #investingforwomenpodcast #womeninvesting #financialliteracy #tiktokpartner

#greenscreenvideo I had no idea how I was going to introduce myself and then Jim Cramer did. I couldn’t film anything afterwords or during and I cried in aw. This is a huge step for women in the industry. Jim broke barriers just by giving an introduction. I am forever a Jim Cramer fan. He is kind, knowledgeable and entertaining as hell! #jimcramer #stockmarket101 #technicalanalysis #womenempowerment #womeninfinance #girlstalkstocks

Replying to @Sunflowersteph what an amazing question! You can watch the news, but you can also go directly to the resource. The fed posts all of their meeting minutes, series of economic projections (SEP aka dot plot) and even studies, history. You can really get lost in monetary policy :) Let me know what questions you have! #interestrates #fomc #federalreserve #monetarypolicy #stockmarket101 #financialliteracy

Replying to @Rick tariffs will cause a strain on the consumer in an environment where they are already being squeezed due to restrictive Fed policy. The risk: inflation data not looking tariff driven and the Fed cuts too late - meaning cuts coming in to stimulate the economy. We do not want that. Anyways, Trump is talking at 9pm. Let’s see what happens. #stockmarketnews #stockmarkettoday

Welcome to the inner workings of my brain. It’s been crazy day today in the stock market, really with uncertainty introduced in the form of fiscal policy. GDP served as the cushion for the Fed to take their sweet time in lower rates, if that cushion is removed, we become more concerned. All eyes on the employment report this Friday to see if the consumer doesn’t have a cushion at all. Ask your questions! I’ll make comment replies all week! #stockmarket101 #YieldCurve #stockmarketnews #stockmarkettoday #tiktokpartner

Generally speaking, inflation is very good for the stock market. This is because inflation means that prices are increasing, and if consumers are willing to spend more, then companies are making more. But, if inflation moves too far too fast the Fed will step in and slow down the spending. (We’ll attempt to) they do this by raising rates and the stock market does not like that. How does inflation affect the stock market? Answered ✅ #stockmarket101 #inflationexplained #financialliteracy

📉 What’s an “Inverted Yield Curve,” and why does it matter? Normally, longer-term bonds pay more interest than short-term ones—makes sense, right? You tie up your money longer, you get rewarded. But when the Fed hikes interest rates (to fight inflation), short-term yields jump higher than long-term ones. This flip-flop is called an “inverted yield curve,” and it’s a big warning sign of recession. But here’s the key: It’s actually those Fed rate hikes that slow down the economy and tip us into recession—not just the inversion itself. 📈 Good news: When the curve “re-steepens” (short-term rates fall below long-term again), it’s an early sign that the economy might start growing soon. #YieldCurve #RecessionWatch #FinanceTok #EconomyExplained #FederalReserve #MoneyTalk #StockMarket #Investing101 #MarketTrends #FinancialLiteracy
