·3h ago 💖 BABE if you’re trying to get into wigs, let’s talk! Here’s everything you NEED to know so your wig is giving scalp and not helmet: ✨ Biggest mistake beginners make? Too much glue + not prepping their hair = lifting & bulkiness. ✨ Easiest way to install a lace front? Try a glueless method or a 5x5 with an elastic band before going fully into a lace front. Try Experimenting with a light-hold gelly from @bold which is WAY more beginner-friendly! ✨ HD lace vs. Swiss • HD lace = thinnest, melts into the skin best. • Swiss lace = more durable, but you’ll need makeup or lace tint. ✨ How to make a wig look natural? Pluck the hairline, tint the lace if needed, use a wig cap that matches your scalp, and lay your edges if you prefer! (Simple I know so let me know if we need follow up tutorials!!!!) ✨ Can you sleep in a wig? Yes, but wrap it in a silk scarf or use a satin bonnet to keep it fresh. ✨ Picking the right lace color? Match it to your scalp, not your skin. If it’s too light, tint it with foundation or lace spray but try your best to match the lace to your skin prior to getting it. ✨ Keeping your edges safe? Don’t put glue on your edges and use a cap to protect! ✨ Fixing a bulky wig? Thin out the hairline at the root with thinning shears, flatten your natural hair underneath, and use a hot comb to smooth out volume and be sure to check out @thehair on YT because she has a full tutorial!!!!! Drop the questions DIRECTLY in the cǒmments because we are FULLY in our wig era over here bb 😁 #wiginstall #wigtutorial #wiginfluencer #wigstyling #lacefrontwig #5x5 #frontalwig #hairtok #humanhairwig

·1d ago 🚨 PSA: Not all heat protectants are created equal! 🚨 If you’re styling your hair with heat and not using the right product for your hair type, you’re either weighing it down or not protecting it enough. 😬 Let’s break it all the way down: 🔥 WHEN TO USE WHAT: ✔️ Heat Protectant Mist or Spray – Ideal for fine to medium hair because it’s lightweight and won’t make your hair greasy or heavy. Look for thermal protection up to 450°F to keep your hair safe. Perfect for flat irons, curling wands, and blowouts BUT WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY HOLD and will deactivate any hairspray or mousse you put in before!!! ✔️ Heat Protectant Hairspray – YES, some hairsprays DO have built-in heat protection! These are great if you want both hold and protection, especially if you’re curling your hair or setting a style. If you’re using one, make sure it specifically says “thermal protection” on the bottle. ✔️ Heat Protectant Oils & Serums – Some are specifically formulated for heat styling! If your hair is thicker, coarser, or dry, a heat protectant oil can seal in moisture and protect from damage without making your hair stiff like a spray might. The thicker your hair is, the thicker your oil or serum will need to be. 💡 PRO TIP: Always apply your heat protectant evenly—if you’re using a mist, spray section by section and comb it through to distribute it. If you’re using a serum or oil, rub it between your hands first so you don’t get too much in one spot. NOW TELL ME YOUR FAVORITES 😁 #heatprotectant #haircare #haircareroutine #hairoil #daniellebregoli #hairtutorial #hairtok #hairtips

·1d ago 🚨 DON’T PANIC BESTIE! 🚨 If your round brush is STUCK in your hair the LAST thing you want to do is try to PULL AND YANK it out!! 😬 Instead try this: 💡 DO NOT YANK IT OUT. This will only make it worse and cause breakage. 💡 Unroll the brush little by little in the direction you rolled it in. If you rolled it inward, twist away from your face to loosen it. 💡 Use a fine-tooth comb or your fingers to gently separate any knots around the bristles. GET A FRIEND TO HELP AND USE LOTS OF LIGHTING TO IDENTIFY THE HAIR (because it’s usually ONE hair) that’s hanging up the whole brush!!! 🔑 💡 Add a little oil or leave-in conditioner to help lubricate the hair and make it easier to slide out. 💡 If all else fails, grab a blow dryer on LOW HEAT and aim it at the tangled section to soften the hair and make it more flexible. ‼️ And if you’re reading this BEFORE you even touch a round brush, here’s how to avoid the struggle next time: 🔥 Keep your sections SMALL!!! oversized sections = disaster waiting to happen. 🔥 Make sure your hair is FULLY DRY before WRAPPING IT FULLY AROUND the brush because damp hair tangles WAY TOO EASY. 🔥 Use a brush with SMOOTH bristles (boar bristle brushes grip too much, which can lead to knots). 🔥 And ALWAYS roll in a way that you can easily unwind it! Tag a friend who NEEDS to know this because I KNOW we’ve all been here at least once 😭😂 #blowoututorial #blowouthair #orangehair #hairtutorial #hairtok #hairfail #daniellebregoli #hairtips #hairhacks #hairbrush #wavytalk

·3d ago 😳 What are YOUR thoughts???…. And while this is all my opinion it still makes me wonder…Have hairstylists gotten out of hand with their pricing? Even AS A HAIRSTYLIST I think $370 for a root touch up seems like a situation where you’re paying to hang out with a specific person and you’re already locked in because you like them and you like being associated with their salon/brand because even the most unmotivated girl that sat next to me in hair school can bang out a root touch up on a rainy day with little to no skill…..its possible shes referring to something else but….idk lol This particular hairstylist is ALSO one of those “Teaching you how to become a SIX FIGURE STYLIST” educators which makes me wonder if that influences her to make a video glamorizing $370 root touch ups…. But it just makes me think back to when I was assisting and my mentor told me that the root touchup clients are the bread and butter and she could always count on them to come consistently for those touchups so she treated them with a little bit more respect than that of a brand new client off the street. I totally get both sides of this and I totally respect this stylist because of course you should charge your worth and if people are willing to pay it who is really to argue with that 🤷♂️ But to that point, more and more clients are doing their own services at home and the SAME companies that manufacture your haircolor are the SAME companies creating EASIER at-home haircolor solutions for your clients so I’d be very mindful because I’m not sure how many people will be able to afford to get their hair done at ALL the way this year is looking lol….. Also NO HATE to @BLEACH.HAIR.CO for charging what she charges because truthfully, I charge companies way more as an influencer for certain things I just wanted to have a bigger conversation about pricing 🫶🫶🫶 #hairstylist #hairdresser #hairsalons #pov #haireducation #roottouchup #hairstylistsoftiktok #hairstylistproblems

·6d ago ☁️ If you have fine, thin, or flat hair, listen up—because this little trick is about to change your life. 😍 You know that big, bouncy, voluminous hair you see all over your feed? The secret is Texture powder!! 🤫 If you’ve never used it before, don’t worry I got you with a step-by-step guide to take your hair from flat ➡️ FABULOUS in seconds!!! And I literally mean instant volume that lasts all day. ✨ HOW TO USE TEXTURE POWDER FOR BIG HAIR ✨ 1️⃣ Start with dry hair – Texture powder works best on completely dry hair because it activates when it absorbs excess oils and adds grip. 2️⃣ Section your hair – Lift small sections at your crown, sides, or anywhere you want extra volume. The more sections, the bigger the hair! 3️⃣ Sprinkle or puff a small amount at the roots – A tiny bit goes a long way! You don’t need to drench your hair in it—start small, and you can always add more. 4️⃣ Massage it in with your fingertips – Gently work the powder into your roots using a back-and-forth motion. You’ll feel it instantly thicken and lift your hair. 5️⃣ Flip your hair over & shake it out – Want that effortless, bombshell volume? Flip your head upside down, shake your roots with your fingers, and flip it back up. BOOM—instant lift. 6️⃣ Style as usual – You can leave your hair as is for that undone, tousled vibe, or use it as a base before teasing for extreme volume. Bonus: It also helps hold curls longer because of the added texture! ✨ WHO NEEDS THIS? ✨ ✔️ Fine hair that won’t hold volume ✔️ Thin hair that needs extra fullness ✔️ Flat roots that fall limp by noon ✔️ Anyone who wants big, sexy, long-lasting volume without teasing The best part? It’s totally weightless, invisible, and works in seconds. You don’t even need a blow dryer—just sprinkle, fluff, and BAM! 💥 #voluminoushair #bighair #fluffyhair #haircareroutine #hairtutorial #finehair #thinhair #hairtok #sexyhair #tiktokmademebuyit #hairstyling

·1w ago Replying to @NancyYarnell1 🚨 Let’s breakdown when a 1099 is OKAY and when it definitely ISNT: A real 1099 independent contractor is basically their own boss. They: ✔️ Set their own hours ✔️ Control their own pricing & services ✔️ Choose their own products ✔️ Can work anywhere, not just at one salon ✔️ Rent a chair or booth at a salon (like a booth renter) Now, if a salon is calling you a 1099 but they control your schedule, pricing, or products they’re illegally misclassifying you. And guess what? That benefits them, not you. How This Hurts You: 🚨 You pay DOUBLE in taxes—Since you’re classified as “self-employed,” you owe both income tax AND self-employment tax (the part an employer would normally pay). 🚨 No unemployment benefits—If the salon fires you or closes, you get nothing. Employees can collect unemployment, but 1099 contractors can’t. 🚨 No legal protections—As an “independent contractor,” you aren’t covered under labor laws for things like wage protections, overtime, or workers’ compensation. 🚨 IRS trouble—If the IRS finds out you were misclassified, you could owe back taxes, penalties, and interest. Meanwhile, the salon keeps all the money they saved by not paying their fair share. How to Protect Yourself 🔹 If a salon calls you 1099, ask: ✔️ Can I set my own hours? ✔️ Am I required to use only your products? ✔️ Can I take clients outside of the salon? ✔️ Am I responsible for my own booth rent? If they say NO to these, they’re misclassifying you, and you’re likely supposed to be a W-2 employee instead. Don’t let salons trick you into paying all their taxes for them. If you’re a new cosmetology student, do your research before accepting a job offer! If this happened to you, you can report it to the IRS or your state labor department and possibly get the money you’re owed. #cosmetologystudent #hairdresser #salonlife #independentcontractor #hairindustry #BeautySchool #Hairstylist #cosmetologylife #beautyindustry #SalonOwner #hairdresserlife #taxtips #hairstylistsoftiktok

·1w ago 👇 Before You Hit the Salon… If you’ve ever said “Do whatever” to your stylist… they’re probably lowkey panicking 😅 Here’s how to make sure you love your hair and make their life easier: ✨ 1. Bring Inspo Pics But Be Realistic That icy blonde on Pinterest? It’s gonna take time (and multiple sessions). Magic is real, but so is science. 😁 ✨ 2. Know What You DON’T Want Bad past haircut? Color that traumatized you? Spill the tea!!! 🍵 it helps more than you think. ✨ 3. Trust the Process Big transformations don’t happen in one session. If your stylist gives you a plan, listen to them!!! ✨ 4. Don’t Come with a Week of Dry Shampoo Buildup A little dirty? Fine. A literal oil slick? Not ideal for color absorption. ✨ 5. Be Honest About Your Hair History Box dye? Old bleach? Brazilian Blowouts? Your stylist needs to know. Lying only makes it harder (and more expensive) to fix later! ✨ 6. Be Real About Maintenance If you hate salon visits, maybe platinum blonde isn’t for you. Love layers but never style? Go for something low-maintenance! ✨ 7. Talk About Your Vibe Not sure what you want? That’s okay! Do you want soft, effortless, model-off-duty hair? Do you need something budget-friendly? Your stylist can help. ✨ 8. Ask About Hair Health Thinking of a big change? Ask your stylist what you’ll need to keep your hair healthy post-transformation. ✨ 9. Let Your Stylist Do Their Thing They know what will complement your features & lifestyle. If they suggest tweaks to your inspo pic it’s to make it look even better on YOUR hair type. ✨ 10. Don’t Ghost Your Stylist Cancel if you need to, but don’t no-show. Stylists are independent and rely on bookings. 🔥 Hairstylists, what’s your biggest “I wish clients knew…” moment?????? 💖 THANK YOU @Siiri 💖 @MADCAS ◡̈ 💖 @Philip Wolff 💖 @TheOriginalManeologist-Charlie 💖 @Mirrored By Marquie 🪩 💖 @Wayne Tuggle 💖 FOR HELPING ME!!!! 🥹🥹🥹🥹 #HairTips #salontips #HealthyHair #hairstylistoftiktok #hairstylisthumor #HairGoals #HairTransformation #hairsalon #salonlife #hairtok #haircut #hairinspo
